My advice is, don't get too upset about Mainland Chinese level of service.... they're just socially awkward and are always afraid to apologize and offer any compensation... that's just the way they are!! I like the young Canto-speaking cashier gal.... very sweet and nice.... hard to find these days in Chinese food courts!!!

My first stop was at the food court eating rice roll and 小籠包 at the Richmond Public Market. 小籠包 was not the best but better than all in Seattle. Next day, I had 小籠包 and diakon pastry at Top Shanghai Restaurant. It was heavenly!

This is the worst quality and most expensive Chinese food court in Richmond. Those two items with rice are utterly garbage with outrageous prices ($15 for two and $18 for three over rice). The Chinese Baozhi Master has attitude and belligerent service. Emily, Grill Queen’s experience says it all; just goto Yaohan and buy a youtial + immitation shark fin soup and eat it at the food court. The curry place usually gives me diarrhea. So I agree with your group, that the Chinese BBQ place is the best choice. I also like the Great Grain Noodle place but warn, they do not speak Canto or English. And yes, every Financial advisor hard sells and rips clients off selling Mutual Funds at 3% MER with horrible returns.(6-8%). If one minus their MER (2.85% or 3%) one nets 3-5% or the same rate as a GIC. So why use a FA? I would stay the ef away from those people! They future plan for themselves, not for you, the client!

really??? The Curry place was my favorite back 20 years ago when they got solid curry fishballs and Hainan chicken.... oh well... can't expect owners/quality to stay unchanged forever... just like HK nowadays.. the vibe is totally off now!!
想讚下 Grill Queen 對換油條嘅堅持。態度唔好唔緊要，但商業道德對我好重要。顧客唔應該要當眾發火先被理會。 明明系自己出錯，都毫無歉意。重要搞到好似個顧客無理取鬧。果段我涕到發火。幾好食我都唔會幫襯。

我覺得約20年前開始，好多华人店，服務態度，食物質素，Generally downgraded,, 🤔, 除了小費！其實食客來買$5义燒，雖然消費係低咗些，但店員如用另外角度睇，可能个客係想試下先，好味就一定會再買！建議網友可利用 Google Reviews, comments, 講下意見，好多名店，只想食客食完快閃，企檯又多係(聾的傳人)！不專心幫客人落單,.！

Grill Queen 的選擇好抵食。Todd 爺好豪。那碗燒味湯麵都幾貴以在food court 來計。亞妹碗粥好似好希咁 亞康的紅油抄手價格公道。亞君和Lawrence 的選擇腸粉和小麥粥不過不失。基叔下次又去邊度玩呀

Richmond public market 公眾市埸 food court都好多正嘢食，有兩三間賣抄蟹，我兩年前去過，地方係舊些，但好多不同食店，睇上去也幾好！一般华人，越南人食店服務都係好普通，都不要有期望會（中，高質素）啦！
