During our recent visit to Dharavandhoo in Baa Atoll, we had the pleasure of reconnecting with Salim, a 35-year-old employee at Kiha Beach Hotel, where he serves guests with unwavering dedication. We first met Salim eight years ago when the hotel was still under construction, and he had just been hired by the property’s owner, Mr. Naval. Even after all these years, Salim remains as enthusiastic and committed as ever, playing a key role in ensuring the hotel’s smooth operation. In this video story, we share Salim’s journey. Born with unique challenges, Salim has demonstrated that he is not only highly productive but also genuinely content-qualities that many of us strive for. Though he enjoys good health and a positive outlook, he still feels something is missing from his life.
