I have 2 SCX10 pro and a 3rd chassis for my Capra build. I drive one everyday for testing upgrades and new lines. It works well and puts extreme pressure on my VRD. It’s by far my favorite platform and I highly recommend it

I want a competitive rig with no selectable overdrive, no dig, just a simple, straightforward design. Everything is so overdesigned these days, let's go back to basics.
Axial scx 10ii kit is good but you have to upgrade a lot of stuff for it to be competitive

I used a shorty steering servo on my scx10 pro….a normal size servo drags on rocks and such..
Great review …the pro is quite competitive…I like the straight axle on mine but I was considering the portal conversion also.
Good to hear your experience! Yeah, I can see a full sized servo dragging. And I see now why Reefs is making some brass cased servos!
@@RCReviewChannel I ended up using an NSDRC shorty servo….Reefs is a great brand one also and I have a few of those as well on other rigs.
With this level of RC I use mostly the best stuff…

Paintjob on that body is excellent, did you do that yourself or was it part of a promo?
Is it just the portal ends that ar diffrent on the new axles, or are there other diffrences as well? I am considering the portal axles, but i wish there were a convertion where you just have to put on the portals at the ends.
Treal has portal kits that mount to the stock straight axles, bout the same price as buying the portal kit though.
Did you have the coyote body there or the cliffhanger, both look pretty nice? I've got mine set up very similar to what you're planning and I really like it. Very interested in what you think of the comparison with the vrd, looking forward to that video. Thanks for all you do here, i appreciate the insight

Hello, I just watched your trx4 ford bronco 1979 video and I liked the rc vehicle, but I am very undecided, there are two options in front of me, the first is trx4 bronco, this rc vehicle is brand new, the second is Axial scx10 3 gladiator, and this vehicle is a little used, so it is very possible to find second hand scx10 3 parts in my country. Not for trx 4, as we know, it is easily available from companies such as Aliexpress and the trx4 2 gear transmission attracts me very much, but the fact that the bronco cap is black seems very boring to me, so axial seems logical, but it is not possible to find the part, and the seller does not upgrade me with axial ones anyway. On the contrary, if it is upgraded, it says that it sticks to the original. I am very undecided. The unit price of both products is the same in my country. Which one do you think I should buy? Additionally, unfortunately, the economy in my country is not very good, so the prices are high. I wonder if I should give up on both of them and buy the axial scx10 1. And do you think, if I buy the trx4, should I make it heavier? I have beadlock rims, but if I buy brass or aluminum parts, will it tire the transmission or cause a problem?
