Horses and goats usually get along well & they will rough house. Often, a goat may be purchased as a companion for a horse, especially a show horse or race that needs to be kept calm. I've seen goats riding on horses back. Frequently though, the goat may be de-horned so as not to accidentally injure the horse...they LOVE to butt anything and everything. BTW, that goat was not a baby, the horns are too long.
Donkeys are also kept in horse stables for their calming effect it has on nervous horses. They will even travel in horse box when horse is going to races to keep horse calm and secure.
