Check out our latest (Autumn 2021) video on information architecture, featuring Maureen from UX.Collection here: th-cam.com/video/OJLfjgVlwDo/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for this great video. What makes it really useful is that the speaker is clear, the visuals are clear and all this is directed towards actually implementing IA. If the video just explained it theoretically, it wouldn't have been helpful.

CareerFoundry I'm a web designer with over 10 yrs of experience and my current goal is to become a UI Designer but also a UX generalist, I mean, I have talent with the visual, the interface itself, so I wanna flow ok in UX but going deep in UI. What would you recommend me? I'm unemployed since Nov 2016 to now, Nov 2019 and I feel as if I was an horrible professional. I think Career Foundry might help me to get back to track :)
Thank you for this! I was instructed with writing a paper analyzing a library website. I had no idea what IA was and the lecture made me even more lost.
On the time 6:56, what do you mean by "Outline the naviation structure"? Where can i get visual examples? How do i "outline the navigation structure" in the site map?
The video was very very helpful but can you explain more about the competitor analysis part how to do information architecture on competitors websites and what outcome we get after that and after makeing 2-3 competitor analysis how to get insights from the IA.

Hi there! Task flows focus on how users travel through the platform while performing a specific task. They generally show only one path and don’t include multiple branches or pathways like a traditional user flow might. One of CareerFoundry mentors, Camren, wrote a great blog post explaining user flows in UX design: careerfoundry.com/en/blog/ux-design/what-are-user-flows/ We hope you’ll find it useful and interesting!
Hi there. I ally enjoy your content all the time, but I this one was a bit different not because the content was bad but because your video was amaturely recorded... There is a lot of empty space overn Rose and that makes her not the centere focus of the video. Otherwise, keep up the great content.
Hi David! Thank you for the feedback. This video was actually filmed quite some time ago, and is one of our "older" videos. We have since improved the quality of our recordings. We're happy to hear you enjoy the content anyhow :)
Is it ok to dynamically change some of the navigation item labels when a user hovers over them so that they think something messed up? In addition, might it be ok to pop up a modal that states something to the effect of, 'Your browser has been quarantined because it is not Netscape Navigator and you must pay $3.33 if you ever want to close this modal again.', and then if they try to close their browser they are forced to download and auto-install the Lynx browser and then they have to always use the Lynx browser going forward forever?
This video is not UX friendly. There should be animated diagrams and infographics illustrating this. A person talking to the camera really isn't enough for a company claiming to be experts in this.

Thanks Prakriti!
Thanks, the video was informative but the background music was unnecessary it's distracted me from her words.
Thanks Sam, glad it was useful! We will take that into consideration for our future videos.
I liked the background music. Maybe a tiny bit lower in volume. But this without music would be rough.

What's her @?
Great content but the host looks at you in way of psychopath
Grazie mille per l’aiuto
Thanks for the video.
