I don't think the Yellow Devil is possible to beat without cheating.
Megaman is one of my favorite series for original Nintendo. The challenge is fair, my only issue with the games is they require some level memorization to play well and economically with the powers, as some of the traps can be a bit cheap, but if you're one to have beaten the first game you're unlikely to have as much trouble with the second as a newbie, as they do follow a pattern.
As an aside you two seem to make a really sweet couple! It's cool to see people having fun interacting and sharing in an organic way.

This was my first MM game, a rental. No guide, no manual, just me and my NES vying for ultimate victory.
Ah, memories. I wonder how many of us can blame pre-mature balding and graying on stress from these games alone.
I'd recommend Mega Man 5 for beginners. It's generally considered the easiest classic Mega Man. So if you ever get frustrated with Mega Man 2, that is an option.
I used to play this all the time in my teens recently I bought all 11 games again on my Switch and I also fail on the same things in my mid 40's now hahaha it's so hard nowadays back then I beat the game day one in under 3 hours 😂

The thumbnail has some pretty wicked character design. Wouldn't want her as a female MM, but definitely wouldn't mind seeing her as a major character in the franchise alongside Zero and Proto Man.
My husband is getting pretty good at these thumbnail designs. We were just talking about it actually and wondering if anyone is even noticing them. 😄
@@goth-wife It got me to watch the video at least. I'm not too fond of the deviant-art anime-wannabe kind of style you see a lot (especially in western-developed indie games). This straight up looks like something a Japanese/Chinese/Korean artist could make to promote a game, I think. I'm not an artist though and don't know all that much about art.
