Haha! I cleaned up our fridge while Mom was making dinner. We were able to re-arrange our lifestyle. I've bought a nephew a few t-shirts that he can wear here at the house. He likes Fender and a few other bands. I was careful not to get the crazy bands. He's 14 and 6 ft 3 inches. He is still growing! Idk what size he will be once he stops growing? I hope my SIL appreciates that my parents are helping raise him. I moved here and realized that everyone needed help, so we are fixing things. Dad needed a hospital bed with trap in his bedroom, and a new scooter. He also got a workout machine and a chair that was used to sleep before the hospital bed came to visit. We need to get another set of sheets for hospital bed, so we can change sheets. Mom said she can make a new set.
I've been to hospital for health issues myself. Keep praying for miracles. Jesus is awesome!🎉

I am here to tell you that a UTI will most definitely cause the most craziest hallucinations. My MIL lived with us for 9 months and suffered from those constantly. She would see people and animals. Keep a close eye on that. She then got a kidney abscess from the chronic UTIs. By the time they figured it out it was too late. Keep praying and keep on those Dr's.
My nights are like that too. I was up at 2:30 am.
Im feeling quite exhausted right now as after only an hours sleep I had to drive 90 miles each way for my neurosurgeon appointment.
So happy to hear your Mom's doing well. UTI'S really mess up an older adults mind and body.

When it’s raining hard or thundering here, our 3 dogs head for their ‘bomb shelters’ - under the desk or in the bathroom where there are no windows. They are too big to get under the bed.
I always enjoyed mowing, but since my last two (cheap) mowers broke, I don’t mow any more. At my age, and ability, it’s difficult anyway. Our oldest son hired a man to mow at his houses and our house. Like your neighbor, he mows too often sometimes. That’s my opinion anyway. I like to give the wildflowers time to grow and go to seed. But I really do appreciate him doing it. And if I hobble out there in time and ask him to leave certain areas, he does.
Yes, my sleep is all over the place, but I’ve been trying to normalize it a bit, when I can.

The power of prayer works wonders. I see it all the time. So glad your Mom is doing better. Will keep the prayers coming. It looks so peaceful there at 2 am in the morning. I think you count the seconds between the lightening and the thunder. The less seconds you have between the closer the storm is to you. I remember from poltergeist too!

This morning I didn't wake up as early as you (7:30 a.m. for me) but it's a rest day because I've worked too much in the vegetable garden in recent days. Despite everything, I'm going back tomorrow to sow carrots and beets.

I was like that Sun night had an appointment on Monday only got maybe three or four hours of sleep before appointment. So after appointment I ate and went to bed. Woke up hours later. Stayed up late went back to bed got up yesterday and ate took meds and went back to bed and woke up about 1am . I sleep in shifts too. I did that with Pop's when caring for him he didn't sleep a lot though. He slept in shifts too. He sun downed a lot. Glad your Momma is better Praise the Lord Amen.

Funny you mentioned the counting between thunder and lightning strikes I was thinking about that the other night when we had thunderstorms.
My mother passed away a few years ago from dementia, a few years ago she had dementia. 😊 good 🌙
