I have that pallete and love it. I put 4 of my favorite of each primary and secondary colors, regardless of brand. I used the corner sections for neutrals. I have seen some artists add a few half pans of extra colors they want to use. This was a really good review! I envision you tweaking the pallete to your liking once you get used to the new colors. Your painting is beautiful as usual.
I think that is how I would use it if I got one. I have had my eye on this palette for a while. I love how they have the markings so you can arrange it in primary secondary and tertiary colours. It’s a very clever design to make colour mixing very intuitive with the use of the colour wheel.
Meeden makes such great products at such an amazing price! I bought that one and their rectangular one that came with a lid. I honestly went back and forth for a week and even debating keeping both 😅.
Its so funny that you werent very interested in the cobalt green dark because it is definitely my favorite in that palette! That meeden palette really seems like a game changer for color mixing!
Hi Crystal,l have 2 of these magnificent palettes,1 with pro Winsor & Newton the other pro Daniel Smith.Bought well over 100 assorted brand new 5,14 & 15 ml tubes INCREDIBLY CHEAP O/S as seller now only paints in neutrals tones.l popped the palettes on 10” Lazy Susan’s for easy rotation & labelled each colour well with Dymo Tape. Also plenty of room to mix in wells. Can you tell l Love Love Love them.😂🐨🦘🙏
Wow thanks for sharing and they lazy susan idea is a great one! And what a great bargain to find all those great paints at a sale. Only in neutrals now? Hahahaha that is soooo funny!
What I don’t like about this Paul Rubens brand is that they picked a german painter as their brand name to hide the fact that they’re a Chinese brand. Be honest with people. We know what these companies are up to.
Alot of brands use names of other places to bring a sense of feeling to their products. Patagonia, an outdoor brand started in California USA. But Patagonia the regional/mountain is in Argentina. An australian outdoor brand is Kathmandu - which is in Nepal not australia. Lots of brands do this appropriation. Not just china brands.
That Meeden palette looks really useful. Great review of these products.
Thanks Sandy!!

And yes, I have 4 must have purples lol.
Nice! I definitely will start putting in my fav colours into the palette. Corners for neutrals is a great idea.
lol that’s a lot of purples!

They do!! A lid makes so much sense! Crystal10 promocode will get you 10% off any of their products!!
@@crystaltanartwow thank you! ❤
Which one did you end up keeping and why? I have the same dilema
Always fun to watch product review videos, it's like opening up a box of chocolate, it's indulgent. X
Yes I love watching other artist review products too!!! It’s like shopping without the actual spending
Hi Crystal. My daughter, Ivy, about to turn 4, wanted me to send you a message saying "I love your video".
That so sweet! Thank you to your little girl for appreciating my videos!!!
I like Meeden’s porcelain palettes. They’re heavy, but very professional.
And affordable!
You could use the torquois dark for eucalyptus leaves... Seems interesting for that 🌿
Great idea!
Love that palette!
It's great isnt it? HUGE and sturdy!
I love your whole aesthetic… your room, voice, painting and teaching style **fangirling**
Okay, that is all… carry on 😉😂😂😂
LoL Thank you!!!!! Glad you like the whole package~!

Nice ❤❤
Thanks for liking
Great video. I've been thinking about getting a pallete like that.
It’s pretty awesome. I’m going maybe slowly migrate all my fav paints in here.

Try yellow ochre with greens and blues 👍
Thanks! I’ll try that!
How long did it take for the paints to dry in the wells? If you don’t mind letting me know
Thanks
I think 24hrs and it will be dried! Depends on the brand.
Be careful with cadmium yellow as it is very toxic and not safe. A lot of artist don’t use it anymore
Ok Thanks!!
