testing Wyvern Knight Framme in my current playthrough. she's basically the definition of a glass cannon. 50 str and 60 spe growth but really bad bulk without draco shields and/or seraph robes (which I ended up giving her one of each). after that though, give her engraved fensalir and really any physical emblem and she's a pretty good physical carry. i've got her on sigurd for cheap access to lance power. after lance power 5 and spe +5, which you can get reasonably quickly, she's surprisingly strong
I’ve only doe 2 runs of Engage, but wyvern Kagestu with Ike is as broken as you’d expect. 70% crit rates, ~30 defense, and he’s still one of the fastest charcters in the game. Also not sure why Kagestu is lower then merrin when his stats are strictly better.
I present to you; the Jean paladin experience. Jean’s personal makes him kinda busted on paladin. He has 55% defence growth, 50% res growth and 80% HP. The best thing tho? He also has 70% speed growth in this class. Strength is also 50%, which isn’t the best, but when every important growth is 50% or more, he will become really good. I have him run Camilla, which boosts HP, spd and res, his skills Axe Power 5 and SPD/RES +5. His HP is 60+, both defence and offence are around 35, his speed is almost 40! This is literally THE tank for me. I can put him anywhere on maddening, doesn’t matter who the enemies are. Now, this is DLC emblem and a DLC skill, but he will do just fine with Ike on Paladin IMO.
my personal fav for ike is jean, I gave him berserker class as fast as he got rank 10, and then grinded a lot of attack stat with over 100% hp growth, then inherited pair up and moved to paladin for better defenses 1 or 2 levels after I got resistance cap, so he just ended up being an enemy phase tank with 0 dodge that could resist everything (also gave him a brave axe that still let him double anything). Even thought it might not be optimal because he is basically good for everything and wasting Ike might not be ideal, specially when tiki is an option if you have bought the dlc, but that build lets him have raw stats that go over the roof (that exact build could probably also be used with roy or even leif, idk about dlc because I don't have it). Basically he becomes a unit that needs to be carried on the first chapters, but when he grabs and axe and gets some levels, he makes it really easy to last him with him, only problem is his accuracy.
For Ike!Panette, you generally want Vantage and Hit+30, since you kill everything anyway without any need for axe power. You also don't care about speed since you kill before they can act. Also, she don't care about being break. If you go in the Leif route rank 4, you can't get vantage+ or vantage++, which suck. And yeah I think she is S tier. It's just a different use than other Ike builds. Killing 5 things on EP phase + 1 thing in player phase is very, very, very good. Also one of the best great aether user if there is a lot of 2 ranged foes.
Ok... you have Goldmary at the TOP OF A while Boucheron is at the BOTTOM OF B? Yeah... this comparison makes zero sense. Stop the madness. Warrior Boucheron is literally faster than Hero Goldmary. Not just technically faster after considering weapon weight (which eventually stops being a factor for him too); his spd stat is _actually_ a couple points higher. So on top of spd and bld being in Boucheron's favor, their str is also roughly the same. You want to run Goldmary with Spear for dmg output? Warrior Bouch with Tomahawk doubles Hero Goldmary with Spear for free. You want to run her with Javelin+5 instead? Tomahawk+3 will give better dmg output from jump. On top of all that, he also ends up with like 15 more hp than her, which means he not only leverages tanking with half dmg better than she does, he also leverages Aether healing better than she does (which is further boosted by the fact that he's doing more dmg than she is). Oh yeah and speaking of which, Silver Blade Great Aethers? Try Silver Greataxe Great Aethers. Bouch also has higher dex, so Goldmary can't even benefit from better accuracy either. Not to mention DOUBLING WITH WEIGHTLESS RAGNELL! Seriously if Hero Goldmary is at the top of A tier, Boucheron is S tier. No doubts.
i think rosado is a very good ike emblem carrier he has good defense i played it with him in my first game but i have to admit timerra is amazing with ike but the worst carrier is still yunaka for me his objective is to dodge so if she can't dodge anymore...
Putting Ike on a flying unit gives them +5 res then engaged. Putting Jade, or Louise on wyvern knight could prevent having to high defense , and give them more res them engaged.
Boucheron!? B-tier!?! Warrior Boucheron does not need spd fixing. Also, Warrior Boucheron eventually gains enough bld to wield Urvan and Ragnell _weightlessly._ Not to mention that his massive hp pool and competent spd leverage halving dmg to great effect. Seriously, this is just disrespectful. Boucheron is a monster with Ike.
Low STR, isn't as fast as he seems, he is more above AVG speed instead of SPEED DEMON fast, if he was faster I'd put him in A but he's low DMG even on those higher MT weapons. I had an Axe Power 5 Bouch on Wyvern and he struggled to deal enough damage with Noatun +5 with Leif engraving.

If he's "low dmg" then so is she. If he's only barely "above avg spd" then so is she. The numbers just don't add up. She's not matching his dmg output with a Tomahawk+3, assuming otherwise equal investment. Javelin lacks the mt and Spear weighs her down. So either a) you gimped him by Second Sealing him to Wyvern instead of just Master Sealing him to Warrior, or b) your Boucheron was simply underleveled. Higher hp has better synergy with Laguz Friend. He's better with Ragnell because there's no spd penalty so he can actually double with it. There's no way she's better than he is with Ike, let alone at the top of A if he's all the way at the bottom of B.

Same with Mage Knight Citrinne. She can certainly obliterate anything with a Levin Sword, but folds like paper with her 27 HP and 5 Defense.
Avoid tank strategy: yanuka with dragon vain fog giving cover to alear, kangetsu, pandreo, alcryst, merrin

This must be old Kagestu is Cringetsu B-C tier he can’t honka tonk enemies like goldmary or Nel anymo

I did a playground with kagetsu as a great knight using Ike and I can confirm he was a hard carry
