Thanks for this review and demo of the new Edge Pro Kyle. I purchased the Apex 4 several years ago based on your demo of that system and love it! This looks like it takes the Edge Pro system up a notch. Given the low angle that is achievable with the BevelTech, it appears that it could be used to sharpen skandi grind knives as well. Thanks again, and by the way, that is a beautiful chef's knife!
400$ to 500 $ for a sharpening kit and it has one stone? I wish companies would think about what they’re doing. Edit. It comes with two stones. Should come with 200 grit to 3000 grit.
Obviously it’s a good system but there’s no reason you can’t include 20 stones for that price. I refuse to participate. Hopefully they change their ways.
@@RP-dv3pwyou should build one of equal quality with more stones and sell it for cheaper. It’s a free market. What’s stopping you? I’ll be your first customer.
Hi Kyle. Do you offer knife cleanup/restoration services? I recently inherited my grandfather’s WW2 Navy kabar and looking to have it cleaned up to be displayed
What about stainless knives that don't have a magnetic grip? Or just knives that are large and you want to clamp in place? Have you found these to be an issue?
Hey Mr. Eric, I am not paid to promote this product. I have never been paid to promote sharpening equipment. All opinions shared are truly my own. Thanks for asking!
Have the apex and get my knives razor sharp with it. Since i make my own knives it works great for establishing the secondary knife edge. Very precise and takes away the guess work

Very nice looking tool! I want one!
I love both of them. They are sweet. Many thumbs up to your video. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
Kyle, that really is a slick little unit that takes out a ton of the guess work. Very cool !!
There's no guesswork involved with freehand either, whether sharpening or rebeveling.
Looks like a great product.....
I'm really liking my wicked edge as well...
Thanks for another great video !
The wicked edge always seemed awkward to me, but I'm glad you like it!
I love my Edge pro Apex. Those guys know how to do great sharpener for sure. Thanks for sharing!

AMEN !!!!!
At that price, I will just by another S90V bladed knife.

There’s a set for $520 that comes with most the stones. That price is absolutely insane.

That looks like a great quality machine. Beats my KME for larger knives for sure.
Are there attachments to securely clamp down the knife so one doesn't have to hold larger knives? I love the clean look of this new system of theirs
Very nice unit.
But much easier to get a hair popping edge with the belt grinder that you made the knife with.
Thanks for the video Kyle, hope you and all the family have a nice Christmas

All stainless knife steels are magnetic...
They're stainless because of chromium in solution, not high levels of nickel.
Thank you for the informative video. Merry Christmas and best wishes to you and your family in 2025.
Are you paid in any way to promote this sharpener?

Hey
I have a Ukrainian-made Kosim sharpener. It is unsurpassed in durability and quality.

I cringed so hard when I heard the grittiness as you started sharpening! That's worse than nails on a chalkboard!
