Here’s the sign you’ve been waiting for. 1. Go pick up your guitar! 2. Chop it into 30 second parts. 3. Use 0.5x playback speed and learn at least 3 notes at a time. 4, Note that the video and audio are only about 95% in sync (normal for TH-cam videos). So what note he was fretting vs. what you heard may not match especially in fast phrases. 5. Use your guitar to confirm what he played (and didn’t play). 6. Play the video in full speed after you’ve learned each 30-second part. 7. Make sure to use the LEAST amount of pressure needed to fret notes and chords without sacrificing clarity. This helps you change chords and notes faster. You’ll be amazed with how much progress you’ll be making in only a couple hours! Keep practicing, his technique is something you’ll have pay extra attention to. :) And, oh add your personal flavor in some parts, mess with some notes, slides, hammer-on, pull offs, harmonics, slaps.
