- Good day everyone! It's been quite the adventure so far, but another exciting development took place very recently, we made partner status with youtube! Thank you all so much for helping us get this far, and we're super excited to get back to working on the railroad here soon. We're not quite there just yet and we have a few more smaller projects to take care of before we can start, but we're close! So until then, we hope you enjoy some of the other work it takes to get railroading. Stay tuned, and stay safe!

I have a bad habit of talking fast/weird when I get excited and simultaneously try to share a bunch of information in a short time span. I thought I had sent another reply to you earlier my bad. Thank you for sharing this information with us! Thanks to you and other viewers we'll be reaching out to plenty of awesome folks this summer. As for working on track again we're still a little ways out but we'll be able to start working on the grade again here very soon 👍
You should refrain from making sparks like that around a battery that has been on a charger. I have witnessed batteries blow up, and it's not pretty.
Mayyybe if this was a modern vehicle with tons of electrical components. But t's a 61. The spark occurs because the charge being fed, is way higher than what the battery contains. This is normal for a dead ass battery and not a hazard outdoors. Also, trust this Man knows what he is doing. Cheers!
@@RomeoCharlie17 For your information, the age of the vehicle does not matter. And the gaseous fumes that the battery gives off do not care where the spark comes from. Even dead batteries can explode. I spent the first 1/2 of my adult life as an auto technician. I've seen them explode.
@@benhancock1408 I'm not calling you a liar, but as a chemist- for a battery to explode there needs to be hydrogen and oxygen gas trapped inside the battery, and then it needs to be ignited. The sparks you see are generated within the arc of the connection (it's why they fly the direction they do), and would not occur inside the battery. This would only happen inside the battery if there's a improper connection somewhere on the delivering charge - and would be the fault of the "technician".
