    If God does not heal all diseases right now. Why are we then praying for the sick and why do we give people false hope by quoting these scriptures?

      .. Some physically and some in death whether it be eternal life or curing the universe of you and disease in the lake of fire.. regardless of the destination all diseases will be cured.. its ignorant for any man to say HE doesnt cure all diseases.. it just might not be the type of cure you want. in the case of the wicked i sometimes wonder if they do want that lake of fire cure, i know i dont

      He does answer prayer and override the forces of cause and effect in this fallen world. But there are various reasons why prayers are not answered.

    Psalms 44:22 is referring to persecution. That is what Paul is referring to in Romans eight. Not sickness and disease. By the way, that is what Paul is referring to in second Corinthians 12 concerning his thorn in the flesh. It was a messenger of Satan to buffet him bringing persecution that he described in the previous chapter. I believe Psalm 103 verses 1:2 mean exactly what they say. I do understand that one day when Jesus returns there will be no more sickness or disease, but let’s believe for it now. Let’s believe that he heals all our diseases. Let’s meditate in the word of God concerning healing and appropriated by faith in Christ provision. Let’s not explain it all away in order to validate our experiences when we did not see what we would have liked to have seen. I would rather aim high and miss it then to not aim and hit it every time. I would also like to say that I have been blind since birth. So I do not speak as someone who has not wrestled with these things.

      How do you still keep your faith when you haven’t been healed?

    • @ServetusTrumpsCalvin

      @@armajay86 Paul's "thorn in the flesh" wasn't healed. Neither was Timothy's stomach issue. Many Christians have been martyred or have died of awful diseases. The evidence that suffering can be good is shown in the testimony of believers like Joni Erikkson, Nicholas James Vujicic (who was born without arms or legs), and many others like Fanny J. Crosby who was blind but also a prolific hymn writer. They glorify God because they accept that their condition is a lens through which God's goodness is shown in spite of the fault of their genes/bodies.

    But how can you pray for healing without any doubting with this theology?

    • @natasha09179
      @natasha09179 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You absolutely cannot. God doesn’t always want to heal people (at least according to my neo-reformed Baptist pastor). He sometimes chooses for people to stay sick to build character. But I went to Pete Cabrera later on and now I disagree with my old Baptist pastor.

    • @Mike65809

      @@natasha09179 Okay so how do you know how to pray? Can you pray in faith without any doubting with that theology? I would say not, since you may always need more character, right? There will always be that doubt, since who doesn't need more character building?

      @@Mike65809 I don’t believe anything but faith is necessary, I’m merely describing the position of most in the church (that it is often not God’s will to heal, so in that case even having “the faith of a mustard seed” would be negated by God’s will that you remain sick. As I noted, I personally disagree with this theology. However, it is exactly what my former Baptist pastor and friends believed and taught. I personally believe there are no limits since the Kingdom of Heaven is inside of us and “to be joined to the Lord is to be one spirit with him.” I could go on, lol.

    • @NVRAMboi
      @NVRAMboi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Easily. He can and will do as His plans and purposes fit His good pleasure. Our problem(s) is that we are blind, or at least very limited in being able to see and understand His purposes while in this life. So we pray that His will ultiimately be done in all things and that perhaps He might allow us some degree of understanding of His ways. I'm comforted in knowing that His ways are always just and righteous. If we have to wait until we wake up in His glory to understand better, then that is a small price to pay for His eternal salvation.
      All things will be made new and perfect again for those who are in Christ.

    Jesus willingly went as a lamb to the slaughter, making Psalm 91 legitimate for SOME people, at ANY time.. “THOSE that dwell in the secret place”.. those who are in close communication with God
    It didn’t happen to Jesus, because he chose it.. Jesus was even quite defiant about it actually, in th book of John in the bible, even saying he had the right to go and do what he had to do.. so every word of the bible means what it says
