A word to the wise, he who live by the sword, shall die by the sword, most of these artists create a climate of fear and danger, they glamorize violence and guns, and they die too soon by it. You live and learn, put down violence, it's unproductive, be humble and live. Peace............

Teach Dem I watched this and had to take time out to really review this show! Oh jah, not died though illness or an accident, murdered, what can be said but the tremendous talented ones GONE to soon, for what, then we look at the facts that even the great ones who played a part to represent their country, home an abroad were still viewed as nothing, circumstances behind all this terrible toll who knows, but its a sad sad loss to the musical fraternity and their families, Jamaica needs to change the mindset, since them time till now, with the same killing fields mindset, meanwhile those who love the greatness in the people we see, pray for a change,
In the content of the show Teach Dem its an absolutely top, well researched mini documentary, can see the great wrks you have put in, you are the example of one of many great Jamaicans representing, call it as I see it sr88, appreciate the time u have taken to construct this, excellent.

not all Jamaicans hate each other that's a lie, take that back, in Texas they don't like black, and if our singers stay in our country and only visit other countries and come back home alot of them would be alive today, my heart greve to see this, when they stay away their minds get mess up and things happen to them rest in peace, there is worst happenings in this world then us try and keep track with the amount of abortion happening.

A very sobering, but necessary and important contribution. I have always been turned off by violent content in music, especially popular music. It poisons the air, poisons the mind and the spirit, and both affect and infect the community. Jamaican music is 'inspired' by three topics: god, sex, and violence. We got to clean up the culture.

These day, what I hear young people are playing on their phone is expletive lyrics. The other day, one 3rd former visited me to borrow my laptop to research Reggae music but the music meant nothing to her personally, she only want to listen to ray expletive.I asked her why and she said only that gives her vibes.
I remember a radio interview with a pioneer local music producer and he said the following " When Rasta Music got popular every body wanted to become Rasta, when Badman Music became popular every body want to become badman" so make a killing music get popular and see what happen.
Finally, the night following the West Kingston Incursion, I turn on my radio to get some news but every radio station I tuned to were only playing classical music that night, Why?! It was for a good reason. They are using music to control us, we are in great danger, think about it.
