His voice is damn near ethereal . I'm not sure how I lived without Sleep Token , but I can tell you now , that's never happening ever again . This is music .

i seen them in slipknots pre show in amsterdam.... never heard of em.... thought vessel's singing was a bit weird, even mocked them a bit....untill he played rain....from then im a sponge, and have em on repeat since 4 months now :D

Es muy hermoso esto, sobre todo si sabes que por años estuvieron ahí, muchos no sabían de ellos, de esa calidad musical (aunque otros digan que no hay realmente mucho, para mí hay talento) espero que un día vengan a México. Specifically bought tickets to see sleep token only. It was fricken awful! We sprinted and were able to catch rain and the offering and left immediately after. Never been more heartbroken in my life. They are truly amazing.

What a performance it was! Sucks every other night was cancelled! The storm that blew through was unbelievable! We dropped our canopies down low just in time and held on for dear life. A lot of people lost absolutely everything.. it Felt like a damn hurricane!
My son was camping too and did lose his canopy...I was in vip and got soaked with the horizontal wind

Your videos are the gold standard. Vessel walking out gave me goosebumps. One week countdown until I see them in Minneapolis. Can't...wait! Edit - you did an incredible job of capturing everybody in the band. What phone/camera do you use? The sound was so clear on yours. My phone could not handle the bass and drum hits - they were very muffled/distorted.

no, they sound pretty much the same as in the studio, just with a bit more bass. their live-performance however, is the best I have ever seen
@@fredyklug3512in studio their music sounds absolutely awful all the autotune ruins it but live he doesn’t use it so it sounds actually pretty good
@@Dragginfleye I would guess he's using live autotune (very common) at times as well....especially for certain key moments like choruses that need to be top-tier. I could be wrong, but it's so common nowadays that I would not be surprised.
@cpjds1 pay attention to his insane vibrato. Vibrato can't be replicated and altered with melodyne or autotune, it creates ugly remnants, very audible. He definitely doesn't use that. There's echo, and reverb on his tech, but no pitch correction whatsoever.

cant really understand the fervour this band generates. Like they take their image from black metal, their sounds are a mix of rap to goth to metal without being able to settle where they belong.

Their intention was never to establish themselves in their own genre. Since their early work, you could notice that they were always trying to bring elements from various genres into their music. For those who are very conservative in relation to this, it must be a nightmare to have such a "different" band, but for those who want something fresh, something new in the world of music, it's a great gift. For many people, Sleep Token gives us what we didn't even know we wanted

Yeah, that's rather the point, and I think the reason most of us that do enjoy them, enjoy them so much. It's certainly true for me, anyway. It's not that they're not able to settle, but that they have no interest in settling "where they belong." I can see where it wouldn't be for everyone, though.
