"Worse" is a strong word isn't it? It has more powerful cpu than 8gen2 but weaker gpu and isp . And is cheaper . It is like 5% behind 8gen2 in terms of benchmarks which we hardly notice on regular usage . And yes, in 2024 , phones coming with 8gen2 or 8s gen 3 should not cross 45k (ideally under 40k )

@@sv6180 As a moderate user, If you change your phone every 2 or 3 years, then you can buy 8s Gen 3; otherwise, even after 4 years, you'll be very less likely to notice any performance deterioration in 8 Gen 2 as it has more cache memory( overtime cache memory deteriorate according to how intensely the phone getting used). But it also depends on the brand how they manage the optimization.

One doubt regarding the Windows Snapdragon X Elite Laptops. You mentioned that it's based on ARM architecture. In that case, now windows got a ARM version that supports this? I am asking this because, I used to work with Raspberry Pi, which is also ARM based but, not able to install Windows natively as windows didn't have this arm based editions as far as I know.
Raspberry pi is suited for Linux or Raspbian OS applications, and most likely you can’t run a full blown windows on Raspberry pi even though it is Arm based and windows pcs do have an arm compatible option IS BECAUSE raspberry pi is having way less resources than your traditional pc. Less storage , less speed of cpu and most probably lesser peripheral support. If you want to run full blown windows on Raspberry pi , somebody needs to port the OS according to the architecture

Are you not going to review Moto Edge 50 Ultra because of the 8s Gen 3 at 55K price point? I don't get it, it doesn't make sense to me at all that people keep calling it a bad deal without looking at the full picture. There are a lot of specs and tiny details that Moto does better which increases the price, people don't know about it because they don't read the specs in details. It's got 3 mics, dedicated 2nd speaker, 64MP telephoto, laser autofocus, UFS 4, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, Victus, 12GB-512GB configuration, 2800 nits peak brightness, USB-C 3.1 Gen 2, 93.5% Screen-to-Body Ratio. Rest is almost same as the Edge 50 Pro which is still top-notch (like IP68, 1.5K 144Hz display, 125W PD charger in the box - this thing alone is so useful for charging every device). Also people need to understand that battery is not 5000mAh because of the 50W wireless and 10W reverse wireless charging. If Samsung gave the same specs at 65K no one would complaint. Why can't Moto charge a bit of premium as well when they keeping improving the UX with time without announcing it out loud. They make so many silent updates that go unnoticed. Smart Connect has become so excellent now it's far better and useful than Phone Link, Intel Unison, and better than Samsung Dex. They're providing access to AI tools in Google Photos as well. I just bought a Thinkpad E14 (R5 7530u) for 51k. Thing is, there is a long path ahead for arm chips, where there will be solid compatability and pricing will come down to mid-tier. So I think no one should wait or spend on x-elite at this point. 2-3 years later, quite definitely.

Cameras OTOH on Motorola tend to be poorer than OnePlus devices. Also you should not stress much on frequent software updates. A good performing smartphone with/without SW update is fine for many premium smartphone users.
