have built models off and on since 1972 have really gotten back into the hobby over the last year and a half. really love your videos and knowledge and have picked up a few detailing tips im gonna incorporate into future builds. Many thanks and keep up the good job.
I honestly prefer your way of doing the videos so much more than other build channels. Its great to get some insight of the cars in question and all the tips and tricks. Definitely keep going, Im always glad to see a new upload from you cause I know youre gonna explain all the things thoroughly. And combined with your calm and laid back attitude the vids are not only informative but also nice to watch / listen to.
Thank you for clarifying. I started watching your channel and any scale model TH-cam channels because I stumbled upon this series. As time went on and criticisms started to fly (about the same time you were moving and you had contractor issues), the channel was off the rail and you got flustered with viewers. I decided since the content wasn't there, I would find it elsewhere. I am so glad you have been back because I love your content, now I can come back I find everything over the past year and learn even more! Thank you again... there are plenty of full build channels out there.
This series is literally the reason I made a TH-cam account and started following modeling content. I don’t belong to a club, so it’s been hard to pic up great new techniques on my own. Now, by following along, I am learning so much about the “right” way to add great detail to my builds. I’m excited to see future installments whenever they come.
Coming to this a year late but I am looking forward to watching the whole series. I built models as a kid and got back into it when I retired. Just now getting more serious about airbrushing, detailing etc. Hope to learn a lot from this, thanks.
Do it the way you would if the real 66 was sitting out in your garage!! I build 1:1 cars too and you don't get to work on them constantly. Lots of reasons: time, money, family, etc. Love the approach you're taking with this and looking to learn new modeling techniques. It's yours... don't concern yourself with how other people want it done. Thanks for the video.
I have been watching your channel for a few months now and absolutely love it your great. I’m back into the hobby thanks to you. I’m a car guy just like you it doesn’t matter what you put on your channel I’ll watch. Keep on bringing those videos and gluing fingers together
My aunt baught and helped me build the red version when I was a kid, the car got destroyed over the years, I still have some of the parts from it. Being looking for another kit for years.
Glad to see you reuploading the series, it has me inspired to get a few of the kits I have started to the finish line. I was always concerned about what other people would think about it, its time to start building for myself again so I can have fun like it is ment to be . Thank you r secks sr
I haven’t built a model in over 40 years, I bought my first kit, a 69 Chevy nova ss, I was going to make it like the box. But you have inspired me to do some research and see what I can come up with. Thanx
Hi Luka, great to see this back. I never looked at any other way than lots of modeling tips. Tips presented in the by way of a build really helps me put them in context. I totally get what you are doing, thanks!
Early videos you showed us your old house and other models, maybe do a series on your old models (one model a video) and talk about it - about the issues you had building it, issues that came to fruition with maybe picking the color or things you wish you did to the model during the build. If any got you a ribbon in a show when you use to attend shows and any memories about the model in general.
Keep doing 'you'! Don't change or apologize.....haters r just gonna hate!! Great channel....I learn something new w/ just about every episode...I tk I would build it as a 'show quality' mid 60's gasser.
I have been building models since I was a kid with my dad and man I have had some really cool ones that I played with and broke. I am trying to get all the kits back I had when I was young and them some hehe! Your channel is one of the best out there for learning how to do things and there is no such thing as too much info and can always learn something that goes pretty much along with anything weather it be models, RC's or 1:1 I look forward to this again and leaning along with you getting tips and tricks in building a better model etc...
Good to see you’re continue with this project bro, don’t pay attention to those people who doesn’t know to watch or learn just keep doing you thing and that’s it man

8:44 I sort of like the copyright dates on the underside to show how old the kit is. 🌵
Adventure in building a model car, awesome! Always an adventure for sure! Great collection of box art!
The 66 Malibu was first model I ever built back in the 90s.
