Love her. She's one of the kind. I think not many K-actress is like her. And to think she was supposed to be a Doctor but end up being an Actress amazes me - I'm glad she took this path.
She was the highlight of this DRAMA. The actress was perfect for this character. Her extraness and innocent tantrums made the show so light hearted despite it being extremely dark, gruesome and depressing.
I fell in love with since the first episode. Idk why some people don’t like her. She perfectly portrayed her character. I love all of the crackhead, chaotic energy in her.
I loved how hong cha young personality is so polar opposite with vincenzo but they're just surprisingly clicked. the way cha young doesn't redeem herself to vincenzo (he didn't too) makes their love story interesting and refreshing. cha young never holds him back, she doesnt judge him at all (even tho she knew all the things he had done in the past) instead she join forces with him. This is what differs cha young from other female characters, at this point when romance already happens, the FL will try anything to make the ML to solve cases through conventional ways (laws, police, duh) but cha young, we knew she's now morally in grey area, in fact she doesn't feel guilty anymore for punishing the bad guys the way vincenzo did. And that what makes them a powerful couple!
They really complement each other 💕 I mean opposites do attract, aren't they 😉 I love how she told everyone that he is from mafia. She was so loud, I laughed so hard 🤣🤣🤣
She’s got so many great lines, and her delivery of the crackhead Cha-Young is amazing. The little non verbal queues with her eyes etc are priceless. Who DOESN’T love extra Cha-Young?!
Hong Cha-Young is now my favorite Korean female character, her personality is so unique and funny, not to mention her hair and style! She is just perfect. Pretty sure Yeo-been is so proud that she got to represent this character. Also she did it so well that I feel like this is her personality in real life.

But hong cha young 🤣🤣 she sleeps so comfortably without hesitation and really don't care about vin look. Trust me, this is the first time for me as a fan kdrama almost 12 years 🤭

Hong Cha-young is destined to be a legend in K-drama history. She may not be a typical pretty face but that makes her even better. Those full cheeks, deep-throated laughs, naturally cute gestures/mannerisms definitely captivated and melted the cold heart of Corn Salad. Just the right mix of spunky, funny, warm, compassionate and true to herself. I did find her a tad irritating in the first episode but as the story went on, she grew on me. SJK described her as a rugby ball...very apt! My fave female K-character and actress! ❤️
