Ralph Lauren - Lookout for Purple Label and Black Label Ralph Lauren Shirts. Usually made in Italy and go for big bucks. Also, one of my favorite lines of Ralph Lauren is RRL. More of a western look to them and are really rare and collectible. Another line to look for that is no longer made is Denim & Supply. If you can find one of these pieces with a American Flag sewn into the pattern they well sell fast. With suits, look for ones with a Loro Piana fabric tag. This drives the price up on even basic pieces. There is a ton more to look out for with Ralph Lauren but these are some of the heavy hitters
Agreed! I’d like to find purple or black label RL’s. Unfortunately never found any around here but hopefully one day. Great tips Wayne! Always good tips from you 😉
Any of the Ralph lines with Western styling or Aztec or Navajo patterned sweaters, shirts, jackets all do very well. Ralph was accused of cultural appropriation lately and may not be doing much more of the native North American themes in the future.
I bought about $23 worth at a garage sale for a bunch of things to resell and got home and found $24 in the pocket of one of the jackets!! I was so excited! It made my day!
Got very lucky and found a Romeo Gigli suade waistcoat in perfect condition. Googled the brand after and was shocked. It's an 80s high fashion piece. I have no clue how to sell it though as there's no examples of it online and the brand seems to sell for between $500-1200 but I haven't seen anything similar to it.
Hmm interesting I would definitely try searching poshmark sold items. Sometimes when I can’t find on eBay I find on there. Could be a rare piece though. In cases like this and I think it might sell for more than what I price I’ll run an auction. You could even start at a price you feel comfortable at. If no bids or interest try lowering the price and running again 😃
I am in the same position. I have many things to sell but don't know how. Hopefully I can find someone who wants to earn some cash and help me. That's my 2024 goal.🎉
HI ! quick question, i'm from france and I dont know if these types of shirt would sell in our market bc first we have differents website to sell on, do you think america are really into shirt like that or i can even try here? thank you ! love the vids
That’s a great question. From what I hear of others in different countries it does seem like different markets. I would try searching these and see how many listed compared to sold. On eBay it will show the number of results for last 90 days. You should be able to get an idea of the market demand that way.
Wouldn’t consider rock revival a bread and butter brand, odd to be on this list…. It’s at least a tier or two above all the other brands on this list. I’d replace it with Under Armour, which is a bit of an underrated bread and butter brand
@@thriftersifter there’s lots of under armour that sells for $20 with good sell through, im sure you see it all the time at garage sales but just overlook it. Most people consider bread and butter to be consistent medium price sellers, but rock revival typically sells for a premium. For jean brands I’d consider brands like American eagle, Levi’s, lucky brand to be more bread and butter tier.
Thanks For Watching! You can find the Whatnot & Vendoo Links Here! Http://www.ThrifterSifter.co

I went to a thrift store and bought some Christmas cards in a box. In the bottom was $29 worth of Forever Christmas stamps! I was real happy!
Oh nice!!

Great video!! Thanks for the tips! I knew some of that but not all. I’m still learning the men’s side of things lol 😊
Thank you for the tips! But what do you do if you think the piece of clothing is to dirty or has stains?

Nice video
Do you do reselling for a living?
We find money in shoes at thrift stores occasionally--seems like a weird place to hide your cash!
I liked my own comment

My mom found like $20 in a purse at a thrift store once, lol, she bought the purse and kept the money, ez
My guy, your killing me 😂 you can't remember what ANYTHING sells for 😂
Haha I just sell a lot of clothes and they always vary piece to piece.

I never buy UA. Here I find Rock Revival often so for me it’s in my top 10 bread & butter items.

Thank you for the education, but the background music is super annoying and unnecessary
