1956 Continental Mark II "Scarlet Lady" at SEMA.

Owner Chris Ryan from Ryan’s Rod & Custom tells us about his 1956 Continental Mark II that started life out as a pampered celebrity car owned by Hollywood movie actress Rita Hayworth. Chris wanted to pay homage to custom car legends like Gene Winfield, John D’Agostino, and George Barris, so the idea was to restore the 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II the way a Rock N Roll custom would have been done by those builders in the 1960’s. This showstopping Continental has won the Great 8 award at the 2018 Detroit Autorama and the Winfield Award and Triple Seven Award at Syracuse.

There should be a law against trying to make the Continental Mark II any better or better looking than the original.
