My guess is that all the Dragons already roughly know the pitch and the idea ahead of filming. They might already know a deeper insight of their business and Peter might of seen a flaw that was not explained during filming.
@@casanova-- to my knowledge the dragons get the idea or concept of the pitch beforehand. This is to find out there is conflict or not early on. They only get the deeper insight during the pitch itself, which goes for hours and not minutes.

Great episode for DD fans. Lovely couple, great product (I'm googling where to buy this right now), Jones mistakenly jumping ship early leaving the other Dragons to seize the opportunity and then looking genuinely happy when the deal was finalised.
You can buy cheap whiteboards. I can buy one for $20 more then this item. But that's not the point of the product. It's not there to remove the whiteboards
This went on to be a very successful product, although I don't understand how they were able to sell this product when they were not the inventor or patent holder? Did the patent holder give them the rights or license ??
I was more interested in how they know the inventor(s) and where it originated from but no history was shared. Most of the times the Dragons want to know exactly where, when and how.. Odd or editing?
Haha! I came here after seeing a newspaper article saying how well they're doing after being rejected by the dragons. And I just realized that we used this at work the other day. Edit. After watching the video it turns out they weren't rejected, confirming to me how full of crap newspapers are.
Peter's argument was what was ridiculous. "Why would I use it? I have a whiteboard!". Where I'm from a big whiteboars costs around 50€. This is almost half the price, it's much more compact, you can put it literally anywhere, I mean it's so obvious that this is so much better than a regular whiteboard. Imagine a new school is being built and they need whiteboards. Why would they buy a regular one when they can have this? They could provide one roll for each teacher who can then use it on all their lessons. Imagine how many schools you could sell this to! And that's just one of many areas where this could be use. This is such a cool product!
This doesn’t make any sense. They say that an identical product, presumably made by an overseas competitor, is selling 200,000 units in Japan and then later in the episode Theo asks if they’re the only product in the world of this type and they confidently say yes🧐

😂
It used to be an achievement to get 5 offers, now it's practically impossible
😂
What was Peter thinking - there are thousands of applications for this product. Well done to the couple and I hope they are enjoying their millions 😮

What a lovely couple! Delighted to see them doing so well 🙂

Great product. We had them in our office. Basically made an entire wall in the office a whiteboard.
i love how down to earth they were
This is still a top selling product today
This is a really good idea. Sometimes, when you're too rich, you stop seeing the requirements of average people.

Peter Jones doing his Jenny impression there.

They seem to be doing pretty well still
