テンセグリティって、木材と鎖使った椅子みたいなオブジェクトだけしか知らなかったけど

これもテンセグリティなんですね。
Tensegrity looks complicated, but the idea is that you use tensile members to transmit forces to compressive members, without connecting compressive members directly. Everything is tightly constrained, so even though the compressive members appear to float, the structure still bears a compressive load.
If it's still not quite clear, imagine the cables used to stabilize a radio tower, how they help the tower stay rigid even in high wind. But they don't have to be anchored into the earth. They can be used to connect bars against each other.
The reason for this is that you can achieve a very rigid but resilient structure with very little material.
If you're curious, try using fishing line instead of rubber bands. You'd be surprised how strong the structure can be.
お互いがお互いを引っ張り合って張力が釣り合うことで形を保ってるので、やる木のように変形して力を逃がす構造になっていると張力が釣り合わなくなりどこかに負荷が集中して、そこからやる木が崩壊します。
適材適所ってやつですね。
やる木が残り少ないやる気を振り絞ったのはわかった（世界一はかないテンセグリティ）
あの浮いて見える見せ方が1番効果的な気もするな〜
糸をやる木に互換して木だけでテンセグリティ構造の台とか出来そう
確かテンセグリティって引張部材だけで出来てる構造みたいなノリだった気がするのでやる木がどのくらい引張に耐性あるかによってはいけるかもですね、、、、

Maybe the unmotivated wood gets pulled just too far down by the gravity, the rubber bands put a big pressure on it. Stronger wood may work!
The balloon really seemed to uplift the first tensegrity. I wonder how YARUKI tensegrity would work with a balloon!

Tensengrity is just some parts held together with tension, like the floating table example.
The central chain is keeping the top that is being stabilized at that point (like an upside down pyramid) up, hence the impression that it's floating.
