Prez Biden did a great job in France. My dad enlisted WW2 while in high school, left and never graduated. He was in Normandy and Italy. He would be 97 today….my hero. Great man!
Trump didn’t even want to attend the Normandy ceremonies because he didn’t know what it was about. He also pitched a big fit because it was raining (and it wasn’t even raining hard!). When John Kelly explained to Trump why it was important for the US President to be in Normandy, Trump said he didn’t see why he should celebrate the dead soldiers because they were “suckers” and “losers” for joining the military because there wasn’t any big money to be made being in the military.
My dad was like yours…left high school because he was drafted at age 17 in March. They mailed him his diploma in June. He would be 98 today. They were great men!

I just found out from ancestry that my great grandfather was fighting in the Civil War from 1862 to 1865 as a Union, 107th infantry soldier. He returned to Washington DC and was addressed by Abraham Lincoln after the war! I’m so proud!

Wonderful! My great-great-grandfather was also a Union soldier, medic and fife player from Iowa. He wrote a letter commenting on a soldier from one side giving water to a soldier from the other side who had been gravely injured by a musketball. And sadly reflected brothers were fighting against brothers, sometimes enemies in the same family. It reminds me a little of families today, split apart by MAGA in many cases.

Love you Linda! I read a very sad story about a woman in Florida who lost her baby boy a year ago. At 24 weeks it was deemed that the babys lungs weren''t developing and he would only live a few hours if he wasn't stillborn. The recommendation for the mom's health was to terminate. Unfortunately, DeSatan happened to Florida and she didn't have the funds to travel out of state for the care she needed. She found out in Dec and had to carry the baby to March. He was born with underdeveloped lungs and gasped for breath for the two hours he was alive. The mom wondered who these laws were suposed to save? Good Question. The woman now has PTSD and depression from the ordeal, her whole family, including her other son who is five, are now in counseling. They had to cut back on the mental care though because of financal reasons, and have had to take on extra jobs, I just wish that the people screaming the women shouldn't be allowed an abortion to HEAR and SEE what the aftermath is, because her story is unfortunately not unique. I pray this travasty of having our rights stripped from us is over soon. Peace.

Thank you for telling this woman’s story. I knew a woman whose fetus died in utero at 6 months. Since this was before Roe they made her carry that fetus for 3 more months. That’s when first learned to pray. She survived luckily. I’m sure she was not the same afterwards.
I think it is Very Important for each of us to understand how critical each vote is going to be. It is not that we just need to beat Trump. In order to get our country back on track, we have to Overwhelmingly beat the Republicans in local, state, AND national positions. I was a foster parent kids that had serious proalbums. But I took them to therapy 3 days a week. I bought the new clothes. I had the hair done treating. @@llc1976 Don't know that, but he's been trying to prevent the DOJ from reviewing his communications. It looks like his phone was seized by the FBI just this past summer. In December a federal judge ordered Perry to turn over some communications. The FBI does not have the authority to independently charge individuals with crimes. FBI investigates and if they believe prosecution is warranted, they refer it on. There were some reports that came out yesterday that the government will unseal documents tied to Scott Perry's cellphone warrants. I'm not a lawyer, but it looks like Mr. Perry is delaying, and for this ball to have just started rolling this past summer, it seems like it might be going kind of fast.
My mistake. His phone was seized in August 2022 not 2023. Quite a few reports about Perry today.

Back in 2016 I was just trying to get my bus home from work when I got hit by a distracted driver who was on their cellphone and I was in the middle of the crosswalk when I got hit and then thrown into the air and landed forty feet away. I had a traumatic brain injury and I was in a coma for three weeks after that. I lost my best friend to breast cancer while I was in the hospital and then I was starting to recover when Trump came on the scene. So I’m just grateful that I am alive and well and I volunteer for the Ronald McDonald house so I can help others with their needs. And now I’m back in the gym again and I’m feeling great and Trump is going downhill so quickly, So I just wanted you to know that you were my inspiration for hope you are my hero. Thank you Linda! There is nothing more energizing as downsizing and organizing! I spent 43 years in one house and start to downsizing more than 3 years ago in order to be ready to sell when I wanted to. I felt a load off my shoulders and easier lifestyle followed. Less cleaning! I was very impressed with Biden’s speech in Normandy, I got a lump in my throat listening to him. I really hope that our kids will have the same feelings about major events that happened in wartimes as our generation. We need to teach them the importance that these soldiers gave everything they had to save democracy. Love and respect from🇨🇦

We are all looking forward to the November election and starting the housecleaning❤️ honestly it feels like this summer is going to be a mess and is unhealthy as I may think citizen Trump looks and how unhealthy his lifestyle is , he seems to be holding it together in some weird dark way.
