@@porterpoteet than why do people consider it a combat mission competitor? I think mius front does what combat mission does in a simpler format so you can go into the battles you love. I wi give you the point that combat mission has intricate squad level commanding, but you really can't tell me that all of the actions you can tell a squad to do is necessary. I also don't like micromanaging troops like you typically do in combat mission (yes, even in WeGo) and would rather tell a regiment of infantry with platoons and squad within those platoons to move somewhere with the click of a button. I also think mius fronts AI is superior. In combat mission my units run into enemy machine guns and all die where as in mius front my units will notice one of theres died to a machine gun nest and begin to slow crawl or even pop smokes.
@@Salsa_Dip I assume some people consider them “competitors” because there are so few games on the market that can compare to either of the two. In regard to commands, I can say I have used all of them in my time playing the game, sometimes wishing I had more to be honest. More options is better in my book. I also value the diverse theaters and multiplayer functionality CM offers, which is totally absent from Graviteam. yes the ui is bad in all graviteam games but still doesnt change the fact that their games are deeper and more grand than combat mission and they somehow costs less , and the multiplayer aspect in pretty much every strategy game is much much smaller than the amount of people who play singleplayer , multiplayer seems huge simply because its more fun to watch than singleplayer , as ive said lets not be silly
what you're not getting in cm is that the numbers being crunched and the results of said crunching are drawn from real-life data and more simulation than game. no other game is as researched or developed for historical accuracy and realism, period. thats why the uk m.o.d., australia and n.z., and the us marines are using the pro edition for leadership and logistics training. if your looking for a consumer tactical simulator this is really the only choice out there.
and i can get the base graviteam tactics mius front for 31 euros and like what 2 dlcs for the 60 euros that i would otherwise pay the base game of combat mission

$50? Hell no. Any similar games you recommend that are cheaper or better quality at same price?
Graviteam Tactics 😈😈
@@Salsa_Dip Graviteam is really only similar in that you command company to battalion size forces in combat. The two are vastly different from each other mechanically and gameplay wise.
Not just $50, but another $20 for incremental engine updates.
@@Salsa_Dip I assume some people consider them “competitors” because there are so few games on the market that can compare to either of the two. Put simply, they are the closest titles to each other in war gaming as a whole. They seem quite similar when compared to say, a 4x game or the like.
In regard to commands, I can say I have used all of them in my time playing the game, sometimes wishing I had more to be honest. More options is better in my book. I also value the diverse theaters and multiplayer functionality CM offers, which is totally absent from Graviteam.
I play both, and I like both, but I can’t see it as fair to say both are comparable and one is clearly better. You are entitled to your opinion and preferences of course.
i wish for this game to have a better { graphics} and a bigger {map}
Just play Men of war or Company of heroes they look 10 times better and play better too.
bUt iT's a sImUlaTiOn
Do this game have asia theater?
No sadly I dont think an Asian theatre CM game exists yet
Hmm , Back to 2005 ...
I rather played this than Men of war 2
Bad decission i would play MoW 2 and call to Arms gates of hell rather than this unfinished pixel games
@@joyogggKids I can smell the cope off you boy lol
@@Archibald1705 i mean i play old game like this to but Like American civil war , i download it for free in 2010 so im familiar with this game to but this game cant beat MOW
More combat mission pleaseee
soon
The price is way to high 😢
I think now it's on Steam it will finally get some discounts throughout the year
@@theShermanator yess.
And that's what I am going to wait for 😅
Summer sale maybe.
50% off
But this isn't Close Combat?
This is definitely more realistic than CC, I played a ton of the Bridge too Far game from the 90s and.. this is better imo
Damn, that mortar got VALUE!
ikr!
nice sherm nice
cheers!
@@theShermanator i just bought it. its my first ww2 title in the series only play BS and sf2 before. downloading now. Would love to see more CM content, hlp bring this beautiful RTS sim to the masses, most get turned off by screenshots of a game that looks sub par, they miss out on the depth of these titles
Let's be honest it's great game but way overpriced for such old game.
agreed
very goog
Thanks Obama Barrack!
$ 91 Here in Australia
That is expensive, can only recommend getting it on a big sale then
Some strange comments on the ARR post. It seems CM IMHO is not a game suited for a lot of the Steam audience. It's more about the strategy not the eye candy. Closer to ASL board game then a fps. Never really understood the negativity thing, just seems such a waste of what little time one has here. Most of the time ones opinion is just that. You like it or you don't, and life goes on, with or without you. As a great man once said "Why don't you knock it off them negative waves".
Just buy graviteam tactics mius front , same but better.
but no MP, and the game feels just as archaic as this tbh
Finally
yaaaaa
Why is this $59.99?!
No more battlefront DRM. yay!
I have the original games and honestly, the series is a frikking rip off, it's a re-release of games that already exist for an outrageous price.
Name of the Game please?
@@isaacdavis7979 title of video
@@theShermanator Okay Thanks Mate ☺️!!
this costs 59.99 in steam but you can just download it with this link idk but that sounds sus
i know its sherman a popular youtuber but still
its a link to the game
is it free?
i clicked it now i know that its just a lind not a file but it says its a file
I deleted my original comment because it was too harsh and I only trash talked this game. if there are strategy features that you can only get here and if you like it so be it I still play the late 90s C&C games because nothing else is like them.
My man, the CnC games before RA3 were the best, Red Alert 1-2, Generals and Zero Hour, played a lot of em with my dad
A real game for men (not gay)
A warhammer version of this omg !!
👀
18:59 ES IST EIN MEHR KOMPANIE!
haha
59 Euros ?
Nope.
and thats just for the base game lmao , just buy graviteam and get everything combat mission offers you but better (with some minor exceptions) and more importantly cheaper which is hilarious cause mius front is from 2016 and this game is from 2011 but it somehow costs more
I really wanna try this game, but holy crap does it look dated. It just looks like a buggy mess with 20 year old graphics. I mean the soldiers look like their running on a treadmill. You mean to tell me that after 15 years they couldn't improve upon it at all? And they want 60 bucks?
its not for the gfx, you get his game for the scale, realism etc but its not for everyone
too bad it cost a fortune. :\
They are very expensive games, luckily with them being on Steam, I wouldn't be surprised if we see them do some sales eventually
@@theShermanator Thats the hope at least, looks like a fun game, however, I probably won't be good at it, as I am not good at combat mission SF2, however I will have fun not being good because I like WWII, lol.
@@TumbleTrashOfficial CM:BN is probably the easiest game out of them all, as the ranges are shorter for vehicles and AT, the hedgerows make dividing the map into strategic areas of approach easier, and the generally slower pace makes it more forgiving.
foxhole tho
Lmao what?
@@theShermanator the player base will migrate with it killing foxhole
^this game looks so bad
Agreed, it doesn't look the best, neither does it run very good BUT man is it a unique game with a very unique MP experience imo
graviteam is better than this in pretty much every possible regard , even price lol , the only things this game has over graviteam is reloading animations for infantry (cant remember ever seeing infantry reload in graviteam but it might just be me) and the game is a bit easier to understand than graviteam due to smaller scale , while graviteam has you work on the operational level yourself , and yes while graviteam doesnt have multiplayers its more or less irrelevant cause most people play singleplayer anyway , not saying that combat mission is a bad game but come on now lets not be silly
Multiplayer is huge, also I tried GTT Operation Star and the UI is just as old and archaic as CM
yes the ui is bad in all graviteam games but still doesnt change the fact that their games are deeper and more grand than combat mission and they somehow costs less , and the multiplayer aspect in pretty much every strategy game is much much smaller than the amount of people who play singleplayer , multiplayer seems huge simply because its more fun to watch than singleplayer , as ive said lets not be silly
what you're not getting in cm is that the numbers being crunched and the results of said crunching are drawn from real-life data and more simulation than game. no other game is as researched or developed for historical accuracy and realism, period. thats why the uk m.o.d., australia and n.z., and the us marines are using the pro edition for leadership and logistics training. if your looking for a consumer tactical simulator this is really the only choice out there.
I HATE CUMBAT MISSION WRAAAAH!!
lmao
@@theShermanator shermy
This game being 60 dollars for a unupdated 14 Year old gam Is ridicules
and i can get the base graviteam tactics mius front for 31 euros and like what 2 dlcs for the 60 euros that i would otherwise pay the base game of combat mission
Only boomers Will pay for this 😂😂😂
Honestly, I think a lot of older people play CM games, turn based allows you to take hours, days, weeks to give orders to your units - so basically you can take your time haha
I'm 18 and i play CM for already 4 years
based CM enjoyer
Kind of looks bad.
This is definitely not the best sim on steam nor is it a simulator.
opinions are something we all have :)
Best WW2 simulator is Call To Arms: Ostfront
Its a GREAT GAME, but absolutely not a simulator
My GOD this looks like CRAP.
@@Xogroroth666 thats what I say, its old looking but the depth is fantastic
@@theShermanator
Depth or not, it looks like crap.
How can these "arcane" looking games still sell?
No wonder all always get worse, quality wise.
Like these MMA games for PC, just the same.
Idiocies like WWE then, get superb quality.
Baffling.
Well, the issue is there is ZERO competition, the devs of Combat Mission games have 0 need/interest in making their stuff look better or run better because well, nobody is attempting to even do anything remotely close to it so yeah.. its Combat Mission or nothing, the devs know this, and thats why its barely changed I think
@@theShermanator
Sad.
Truly, truly sad.
A company has to strife for quality.
It is this simple.
Am I wrong, sir?
whys this look like its using the Empire Earth Engine?
Idk haha
