    gosh.. In school I always was like "wtf is that dude [teacher] doing, I'm gonna cry"

    Thanks so much for these videos and simple explanations (these videos helped put the slope of the curve into perspective)...
    When I saw the chain rule in class today.. I was intimidated... but with your simple explanation I understand a WHOLE lot better now :)

    Is f(x) the x in the equation and what ever is directly attached to it?

    Shouldn't the answer be simplified to (6x-1)/(2sqrt(3x^2-x) ?

    Why is F(X) SQRT(X)?

      Its because f(x) is the outer function and clearly we can see that in this example that the outer function is sqrt of x (in pink) therefore f(x)=sqrt(x) :) hope this helps :)
