"Dillution is the solution," as they say. Better off in lots of air outdoors than confined to less air indoors. If it is OK for chemical plants to dilute the tainted water and dump it down the sewer or Duke energy to dump PCBs into the Ohio River; then it must be safe?
You have no idea how much I love these videos..I live in the West Koots and I love nature. Mu age and injuries preclude me from living the life outdoors. I live like outdoors through your adventures..Thanks Greg..And Finn!❤❤🐕🐾🫎🦌
hi greg. with regard to the staying indoors. it works the same as if you have a house fire. people are advised to keep their heads as low to the deck as possible as the air is clearer (the smoke rises). with this in mind, people who stay indoors with their windows closed, the air entering the house comes through under the doors mainly and has a less dense ppm of particulate matter. this makes the air a lot safer to breath. love your vids. always wait eagerly for the next ones
FINALLY!! These hiking and then catch and cook videos are my FAVORITE!! Can't wait for the next one. Fires aside, the views are spectacular there. You're fortunate to have them!
Greg, whether it's a bushcraft skill video or an overnight adventure (catch and cooks are my favorite), any upload is more than enjoyable. I'm landlocked in the city till October, so I appreciate seeing the outdoors.
I Love Greg too, just can't get out there like I used to! 😢, I'm an Old-Time Outdoors Woman, that can take it! Need to get my back fixed, so, 2ple more years! Totally Determined! Don't care how old you are, if you have it in you! TY, NZ., ✌❤😁🙏
I love your videos…really relaxing and a great escape from this stressful world. I was thinking… can you make bread in bushcraft… here’s a challenge… why not do a Greg makes bread and you could call it “ Bakers” Ovens… bushcraft!, keep up the great work. Silvo👍
We appreciate you and Finn too. What a joy he is and you're one in a million, Greg. God Bless and keep you both safe and enjoying all the adventures possible. : ) Hugs, pets and scratches.
When I was young in the 70’s, I used to hitchhike and I’d stay at a free camp outside of Jasper quite often. And often the bears would pick up somebody’s food and I used to approach them very slowly a couple inches at a time, and they would grab the food bag and run off into the woods and food would fall out and that’s actually what I survived off of a lot of times. Also I really appreciate what you do with your content, putting out all of the survival information you do!
Love the content Greg! I grew up playing outside. I just wasn’t Lucky enough to live in a place where you could just go adventure! So your videos make me happy to see what I can still go do!
Awesome to see you had a catch and cook up , gorgeouse scenery always love watching your video each is a learning experience , And I can get out. I love the longer one's and appreciate what it take's to film such, But suppose you need a break from them on occation, thanks for taking us along Greg shall be waiting for the next. Ontario.
Greg, you are an absolute inspiration to me personally. Your videos helped me achieve a life long dream. I can’t wait to go on more adventures, and see more of the world.
I'm perfectly happy with your awsm videos in the Bush. You keep it realistic as in exactly what it's like to spend a day or two mucking around catching a fish and just looking around at everything. Pretty sure I can speak for every one of your Fans to say. "Thankyou Greg You make us happy❤"
As a kid we called the Bull Trout a Dolly Varden. We hatted them because at least we thought they survive off fry and fish eggs. Finn seems to be maturing a bit. He is no longer in the middle of your face all the time. I, too, am one who lives thru your adventures, Thanks for keeping me enjoying rh outdoors.
Love your work Greg. It’s just so honest and natural. No BS, you make stuff ups and you’re not ashamed to show them. Plus we’re a similar age so I relate to how you’re feeling with the hard long hikes.
I really enjoy every video, doesn´t matter what. My favorite are the simple catch and cook and overnight videos and showing plants. Greetings from Germany
Thanks for taking the chance on going out in forestfires season (and land). You are very natural yet , savy about your survival skills . Beautiful slice of mountain life. Thanks truly
Hey Greg; So glad you are allways in Tune w/Danger, &, Momma-Nature! You Know, when its time to stay or go! No matter?- What, you feel like you are really at home! My dad used to say, home is where your ❤ is! I absolutely agree with that! You always make it work out for the best results! Cz, You Do! GBU, 👍❤😁🤣✌😎🤗
You are one of the few real old-style hikers. Love your adventures and stories. Hope you doing well. Would love to see you again with Fowler. Those video's are among the best online.
Great to see you again Greg. My granddaughters and I have been worried with news of the fires in BC. Thanks for your video and cheers across the miles from Australia.
Great video Greg, and thanks for sharing that part of your life with us. I would love to see those old films of your adventures in the bush when your were a young fellow. Digitizing old 8 and super 8 is possible, for sure. That drone shot of where you camped at the creek going straight up and showing the surrounding urban sprawl was depressingly shocking and sadly familiar to me. Reminds me of my old stomping grounds. All of Canada has been changed by “development” and I am not sure we are any better for it. The fact that that creek and the area you grew up in survived is a happy blessing and gives some hope to the next generation of young outdoors explorers can find this joy and grow to love the wilderness as you do. Thanks you for this!
This video was great. Made me miss the Olympic Mountains where I grew up almost my entire life. I've been living in the U.S. central states for the past few years. No mountains here. Really Miss the Pacific Northwest.😢 Thanks for the video Greg .🤜🌟🤛🐟🐟
Sure wish you could or would put more videos on or out Yes you make some GREAT STUFF OUT !!! Just keep up your great ones on So thank you so very much for them
Gidday Greg , another great video thx , . The reason they say for people to stay inside with the smoke is smoke which is basically ash will settle to the floor in a closed environment, also slot of aircons have built in filters , I have lung issues from being a retired fireman and had a lot of issues in Australia with our last bushfire event . Wishing you and all our beautiful Canadian cousins the best with your bushfires, stay safe as you can mate , cheers from Melbourne 🦘🦘🦘🦘🦘
thanks for going out and hiking around. im unable to get out as much as i like and in the places i would like to go so im living through your videos man
That's why I love my telescopic fishing rods. They fit nicely in my backpack and don't snag in the bush. Also like weedless rubber worms and lures that don't snag on the rocks so easily (but yes, sometimes they still snag). Nice adventure
still one of the most underrated bushcraft channel.
Greg makes me happy.
Been waiting a while for another video, checking every day
Me too.
"Dillution is the solution," as they say. Better off in lots of air outdoors than confined to less air indoors. If it is OK for chemical plants to dilute the tainted water and dump it down the sewer or Duke energy to dump PCBs into the Ohio River; then it must be safe?
