You're selling yourself short by not counting your Ollie height. It's a miracle that you can still walk after all these years of hucking like that. Beast.
he never had any injuries thats what matters, a roomate i had in Yosemite exploded his feet bouldering and recovered fine and is still doing all-day hikes just to get to a climbing spot thousands of feet off the ground on El Capitan
I feel honored to have skated on the same concrete as you brother. Loved watching you in OKC years ago. Stars and stripes skatepark hasn't seen a skater of your caliber since. ✌️
I remember hearing that sound you made when you landed the Lyon stair and I remember thinking "that's what pure pain sounds like, mixed with triumphant victory". You're literally insane man 🤣. A true legend.
Thanks for sharing, amigo. You are a glorious athlete. In these at least 200 billion galaxies, here you are, testing the boundaries of your skill, and like a glorious stat that emits light, your skills are glorious to behold. It is something awesome to ponder on.
Such a legend! It was really cool to see you break down the height and length of some of those gaps. That 18’ long one off the roof was insane looking.
I live right by the Louisville blocks. They're 16 foot 2 inches. I took a tape measure and measured them one day a while ago. They're slightly bigger than the Lyon 25.
@@pizzafroth1521nice. Thank you for finally proving me right. I called that as bigger than Lyon the first time I saw it and remember the entire room dogging back about it
Agreed, when I first saw Ali get wrecked on it I kept thinking that maybe this was the limit of stairs someon can do. Then years later I saw Aaron and I wanted nothing else but to see him try it.
I seriously thought you were probably done with the huge drops after some of your recent injuries, and due the fact you're getting older (not quite as old as me, though, haha). It's super inspiring to see you still going as hard as ever. I've personally been eyeing the biggest drops I'll likely ever do now at 38-years-old over at some baseball dugouts I found, just as soon as I man up, haha; the tallest is only about 6.5 ft., but I was never a big drop dude. But seeing you do much bigger at your age lets me know I can do it, and I've done some neck-high drops in my early 20's, so I'll start with the short one and work up to the over head-height one. I've always wanted to do an over-head-height drop, and now I've finally found a perfect one. Thanks for the motivation, and for being the dude you are, because watching you got me wanting to skate again years ago after years of thinking I never would again, and skateboarding needed a totally original psychedelic freak like you!
It would be the greatest blessing ever to get to go back and rewatch criddler on the roof for the first time again. My entire viewpoint on skate spots and skateboarding in general was shifted.
I watched King of the Road 2015 last weekend and was dying when you were strapping the parachute on and was like “fuck it,I’ll do it” your an absolute madman. I’m in awe every time I watch you skate.
I remember watching your skate videos like 10 years ago and saying damn he’s not gonna be able to even walk in a couple years then you put out your el Toro heel flip attempts… fucking legend!
You must have logged some serious airtime over your career, cool to see you revisit these spots and give the background stories, you're one tough athlete.
The first "Jaws" had teeth of steel. This dude has knees of titanium. Incredible, almost superhuman jumps. At 50, it feels good and satisfying to ollie of a curb. But imagine flying through the air like that ...
Tape Measure Hack: the tape measure probably has the length of the plastic part on the side so you can just lay the butt of it down and add to what it reads instead of bending it while trying to hold the camera etc... hopefully this helps for next time!
@donthaveaname1086 wtf are you on about? Obviously this person has had to use a tape measure for their job or hobby which is why they have the information they're suggesting. Your implication that there won't be another episode of this or that what's suggested isn't useful is generally a negative comment with no spark of conversation, no spark of thought or challenge. Just pure negativity. Keep that shit to yourself man, there's no room for that in Skateboarding.
You know that one show "Stan Lee's superhumans" ~You deserve to be on there and to be studied to see if your ligaments, cartilage, and bones are slightly better than most people? *U gotta add your ollie pop height as well dude. Much props to you man.
Your knees are crazy, most people would rip there acl, icl ...all the letters would be in need of surgery... you're a mutant x man that has the super power of dropping huge isht with steez... I swear Kasper did that last drop where you lost your wheel..

What is the most important thing you need when skating Az? A broom (weed is also accepted)
@@AstralHiGHyes he has
Did he retire?
He wears foot impact soles
You’re not even counting the ollie height! So humble, and inspiring! 😮

You're career adds up to a skyscraper!! Holy shit bro you are such a freaking legend 🙌

Thanks for sharing, amigo.

When you record on the ground it really shows how massive the gaps truly are. You’re a madman.
Tetris player, mouthharp missionary, and the hucking the biggest drops ever while being great at transition. You're amazing
You've got major determination. Thats the kinda shit that deserves true gold medals. Only a select few can approach things like this. Props man.
Is this man the GOAT of big drops?
You're a legend Aaron. Thanks for bringing us years of amazement and entertainment.
So good to see your historic drops again Jaws. Keep pushing, creating and motivating!
Such a legend! It was really cool to see you break down the height and length of some of those gaps. That 18’ long one off the roof was insane looking.
Bonkers!!! So amazing watching these tricks go down!!
Nothing will ever top the Lyon 25 for me. 14 ft 9 inches, 22 feet long, absolutely bonkers. The Louisville blocks are definitely close too
Lyon is just insane

I appreciate you putting these spots to rest. You've solidified yourself among them.
Forgot about that back 360 nose. Real sick one.
One of a kind. There will never be another Jaws!
Legendary stuff. Glad i was able to witness them coming out and being stunned with my friends.

You're built different bro. I cant believe you can still jump like that. Props!
That’s some one handed skills with that tape measure lol

My knees are screwed from being the Ollie off big shit guy in my teens and I never did anything over 8 ft - ish
Great video, by the way i would suggest eating produce with many vitamins for bone strength for the 15 feet. I’ve never done that… yet. :o though.
would i do it again? no. lol
Hell yeah Aaron. Legend.
You're tail stall kickflip off the Peoria bridge to ditch was evil shit. I got pitched just dropping in on the banks.
No length for the last gap?
Fr that was gnarly
Seeing that you're in PHX, I can absolutely feel the heat coming from my screen lol
.. you are my best skater now!
Amazing!
I loved this video.
Recently went to the Louisville river front set. That thing is wild in person
Rad Jaws! This was awesome :)
You're the gnarliest man in history.
Wild stuff!!
You are a beast 💪
Chandler kids can't wait for you to dive in!

Do you think there will be a next time? If the rule you followed led you to this, at what use was the rule?

Im sure people would def prefer to see the number on the ground, that way there would be no confusion ha
😁 Feet tougher than Fred Flintstone 💯
I used to live on Sweetwater. Seeing you skate Phoenix is so fucking fun for me.

Aaron, do you have any signs of shin splints / stress fractures, or do they heal over and make them stronger?
Blessed to have lived long enough to have watched Jawz become a legend in the game. Keep ‘em coming dude.
the living legend!!!
Jaws is one of the goats 🐐
Dude!! You gotta go faster, I suggest a Banshee bungy bro!!!!!🤟

I like how he is so low key he goes around and does this video by himself
Crazy! How are your joints feeling after all theese crazy years of jumping down shit?
Your knees are crazy, most people would rip there acl, icl ...all the letters would be in need of surgery... you're a mutant x man that has the super power of dropping huge isht with steez... I swear Kasper did that last drop where you lost your wheel..
I'm still too scared to ollie the 4 stair at my local 👀 🤯
