Most Mutants have an accelerated Healing Factor. They heal faster than normal humans. Broken arm takes a normal human six weeks to heal. A mutant takes three weeks. Half the time. I mean, just because Piotr eats and drinks in the Deadpool movies doesn't mean he NEEDS to. He could just do it to maintain a routine and/or he likes it. His organic metal has also been shown to be as durable as Adamantium, even being resistant to scratches from Wolverine's claws, but not thrusts. But, that comes down to who is writing the story for that telling of comics.
In the old TSR Marvel RPG, Colossus has pretty dense armor, but Wolverine's claws could easily pierce him. The Hulk's skin was slightly higher armor than Piotr and Wolverine could still damage him. If anything, Wolverine is OP. On the other hand, it would only take a few direct punches from Colossus to put Wolverine to sleep or worse.
Deadpool never showed the transformation. Guess they didn't want to pay a human to portray him. So we got to see metallic form eating, riding in a car and laying in bed. Unrealistic. Most unrealistic version of Colossus.
@@aquariandawn4750 At least for Deadpool 1, we know the film was underfunded and Ryan had to pay out of pocket for some of the crew's time. These were not the X-Men that I grew up with.
One could argue that his metal form essentially turns his body into “skin” which would make any dents the equivalent of headphones dents that go away after a few hours to a few days depending on the damage
But if he just turns human, it'd only result in broken bones which are very easy to fix, especially when it's just his arms, the painfully obvious solution to this is he turns human, they straighten his bones and let it heal like a normal injury.
Okay I'm less than a minute in and the question of "does he really need to eat" being asked is triggering as a long time fan. He's human/mutant, not an alien or machine..... He needs to eat. His metal form is like super Saiyan for him. He can turn it on and off at will. It adds a vast degree to his durability and strength, putting him closer to those like juggernaut and the thing in terms of power and invincibility...... But juggernaut beats him dented and bloody almost every time unless he has help.
One difference is that power of Colossus has a limit. Juggernaut has, in theory, infinite power, like Hulk, for example. Still impressive how he lot of times gave Juggernaut hard times
@@salle6307 comparing Colossus to juggernaut is like comparing me to a pro power lifter.... Can I lift as much as them??? VERY possible, but not even close to repping as much. Same goes for juggernaut compared to the hulk. Colossus has super strength and a degree of super durability normally, but when he goes metal he cranks it up higher...... Hence my super Saiyan reference.
Honestly, Deadpool and Wolverine felt more like a spin off title than a proper Deadpool 3. I would actually like to see a proper Deadpool 3 to round out the Deadpool movies.
Every superhero/supervillain whose superpower set is physical/melee combat oriented includes some form of superstrength and damage resistance and fast/healing/regeneration, even if it's not as strong as Wolverine's or Deadpool's (because with Wolverine's or Deadpool it's their iconic, primary power). Colossus is a textbook "tank", it would be _very strange_ if he didn't have fast-healing as a secondary power. Even Spiderman, who is lithe and dexterity-oriented in his combat style clearly has some level of superhuman strength (he can catch and carry people with no problem, in one movie stops an out of control train without his arms getting ripped out of their sockets) and fast healing to survive impacts that would shatter an normal person's bones.
The big homie been long overdue his shine (no pun) I really hope he gets atleast a few scenes in Deadpool 3, i want too see him smash Daniel Cudmores version while calling him a 'Puny Fox American'
Well that is a new change, old school Colossus healed fully when he changed forms. If he was injured in human form and changed it healed, and vice versa, it's how he died the first time getting rid of the legacy virus that was killing off mutants. Transforming killed him and made the cure to the virus at the same time due to his shift healing. Some of the lesser side comics also said his blood even became a liquid metal.
Hulk's Gamma punches could turn Vibranium brittle, this means he could make other metals shatter, this means that if Colossus was in his Metal-like form then he could be spending several weeks or longer in the hospital if he tried going up against the Hulk(I am referring to the big angry green monster Hulk in all his raw power).
In Ultimate X-Men #29 Colossus was actually able to beat the crap out of Magneto after powering through his magnetic field. In Uncanny X-Men #113 he was able to get a couple of hits on Magneto as Eric was attacked by the entire X-Men team and did not have enough time to properly focus his powers. Also, in the season 3 finale of X-Men: Evolution he got to rough Magneto up a bit because he remembered that he's still a 6'6 pissed off Russian body builder when he switches his armor off. Their other matchups, however, predictably ended with Magneto wiping the floor with the metal man.
@@octosalias5785 That is very likely. The only advantage Ultimate Colossus has over his 616 counterpart is superior strength (Ultimate Piotr is able to lift a submarine and fastball special a Sentinel). However, as the avatar of Cyttorak, 616 Colossus has a significant strength, endurance and speed boost over his regular armored form and he should also have Juggernaut's unstoppability (which is actually a personal force field of sorts, similar to Unus the Untouchable's powers). IMHO, that should be enough to overpower Eric's magnetism.

But if he just turns human, it'd only result in broken bones which are very easy to fix, especially when it's just his arms, the painfully obvious solution to this is he turns human, they straighten his bones and let it heal like a normal injury.
Or they ask magneto to fix him, which he will do far less painfully and faster.
Magneto will love to meet a metal one..
The tooth part made no sense he can’t be harmed in metal form lol
He can do... in reality , hulk broke their arms and magneto fixed them
since when was metal indestructible
Love all these videos
From what I understand is he was injured just like cyclops was and now can’t control his mutation
The Deadpool Colossus is the most accurate representation of the comics, sadly ,directors made him weaker.
Well, Colossus isn't in the worst spot, the fact that Juggernaut did not crush him proves that... even Hulk is pathetic now.
Colosus is my favorite
I knew he looked a bit different and thinner in Deadpool 2
I notice that too did not like it he was huge in the first Deadpool
Honestly, Deadpool and Wolverine felt more like a spin off title than a proper Deadpool 3. I would actually like to see a proper Deadpool 3 to round out the Deadpool movies.
the multiple layers of metal skin in deadpool 2 is cool af. Never noticed that before
Colossus with juggernaut helmet and powere is a beast
It would be funny if deadpool has his tooth.
The big homie been long overdue his shine (no pun)
I really hope he gets atleast a few scenes in Deadpool 3, i want too see him smash Daniel Cudmores version while calling him a 'Puny Fox American'
Can colosus grow his teeth back
Yes
Hulk's Gamma punches could turn Vibranium brittle, this means he could make other metals shatter, this means that if Colossus was in his Metal-like form then he could be spending several weeks or longer in the hospital if he tried going up against the Hulk(I am referring to the big angry green monster Hulk in all his raw power).
Maybe he’s got a metal shop where he can get shined and buffed off and whatever else
2:06 bruh we got osmium on earth😭
Any issues with him against magneto? I can't remember
He is completely helpless against Magneto, but he has also used this ability to heal Colossus as well
In Ultimate X-Men #29 Colossus was actually able to beat the crap out of Magneto after powering through his magnetic field.
@@kaczok1985 Its also possible that Cyttorak Colossus was strong enough but who knows
Oh yes, the strongest assist in MvC one.
The look from x-2 does make sense for a painter x)
Even if he doesnt need to eat, he probably does it out of habit
I'm not even a comic super-fan, but I've actually wondered how his body heals according to the lore.
Colossus is one of my favorite characters Ever! And I love so much that he appears in movies ❤ The Fanatic (PTBR) or Juggernaut (US) is Also one of my favorite characters ever. And Deadpool, and Jubilee, oh, and Cable! This second movie just Blasts me out ❤ I love so much Bishop AND Kitty Pride, they both appear on Days of A Future Past ❤❤❤❤
Now that you mentioned it, he's literally a man of steel compares to Superman
Also in the Deadpool movies he is always in his armored form and never changes back to a normal looking human state like that version of him is permanently that way
He doesn't need to eat or breathe but he might feel like he does because out of the way he is when in his human form
'ManOfSteel' suits him more than Superman
I was expecting to hear the answer on his head dent
But I guess the issue is just brushed over
"That's a lame power" But funny metal man go punch make you weeee.
Also luke cage is just colossus 1.1
Great video, thanks! Although a common mistake - Piotr's last name is not pronounced "Ras-pew-teen" but "Ras-puh-teen" instead, with a stress on "puh", not "teen".
Na bro, Hulk straight up snapped his arms My Guy.
Colossus is just a honorable fighter build with all points put to constitution and strength
Today I learned Colossus is a descendant of Rasputin.
I love collossus as a character but i personally think a cooler name for him is Pewter, pkaying off his real name of Piotr
I lik how collosus was depicted in generation next. He had a sick mask
I love Y2K chrome, but I love the new action figure colossus
I like to think he plugged his nose and blew like a cartoon
Colossus//Heavy TF2
-Russian
-Big
-Strong
-Supporting
-Gentle giant
-Well mannered
-Becomes bulletproof under specific conditions (Mutant power and Ubercharge respectively)
All we’re missing is the sandwich
@@Infamous_Trap I don't see Colossus having a particular enjoyment for food like Heavy does
I didn't even watch this and I know it healed it's a living metal skin
Can he harden only specific body parts like just his fist or is it his entire body
It's all or nothing!
@@prprince11 I hope he gets an upgrade like that mabe form is skin it like spikes or hammers or blades or axes or something
@redghostknight55 an upgraded ability that I would like him to have is Proportionate Strength: Any strength, Speed, agility, etc he increases in his Human form, it will be amplified in his steel form making him stronger.
@@redghostknight55
Apocalipsis does become t1000 like for some time
So if he accidentally stops using his power, he will instantly get brain damage
"Oh your poor wife"
He buffed it out
may I ask where you from?
I noticed theres an accent, quite weird, but lovely!
dumb question, he speaks, moves, breaths so his skin is maluable to him, assuming this he heals like others, his skin will just puff out
Was that womans name from deadpool 1 acutally angel dust and she gain superstrength :D ??? That is one of the funniest hidden comedy i've yet to discover. Because pcp / angledust literally gives people super strength, like same way how some mom's see their kids trapped in burning cars and are able to gain extra streangth just from the adrealine alone :D
Colossus vs The Thing who winning? Thing right. Yeaaaah, it's thing.
Better question what happened to his tooth
he fixed it with the help of YT DIY videos to remove dent with hot water and plunger
