Hey man, nice video. I like how you showed the examples of the tuning. What I searched just gives brief descriptions and you actually showed the effect. The thumbnail makes me think you're working on building this channel so: from an outside perspective, a few differences I've noticed from established youtubers is your mic may be set too sensitive, other youtubers' energy is generally higher, and usually for tips and tricks its not made with one take, it's made using cuts at key points, and gameplay commentary videos are one take. Just hoping to help since I'm watching TH-cam videos and wanted to show an outside view in case you were trying to build your channel since it's hard to see the whole view when you're involved in something Btw, I searched "how to customize your car in wreckfest" and your video was 7th on the list. The thumbnail caught my eye and drew me in so nice with that. Whatever you did with this video brought it up in my search so try to continue that trend making similar searchable videos to bring them up to the top. Subscribed, and hope this isn't taken the wrong way. Just said it in hopes of helping someone small develop into a larger channel in this infinitely difficult to get big TH-cam space. And no I'm not a TH-camr myself lol
This is the most helpful comment I've got... Ever. The video was made a few months ago and I do tend to use more cuts now, but I avoid using them while I'm driving because it looks weird to me. I always forget the whole enthusiasm thing and my mic can't go quite close enough to me so I have to have it quite sensitive. Thanks a lot!
@@distracted... NP, good luck, it takes a rare breed to do TH-cam. I don't think I could do it myself cause there's so many aspects to consider and pull off the right way. When you're big we'll have a beer
Sounds like you’re using a steering wheel and pedals. Can you share your settings? I’m having a hard time finding settings for chase view like you’re using.
@@distracted... I have the Logitech g 29 and depending on advance settings the over steer is uncontrollable if in chase view. Now that I’m learning about tuning though that issue may not be an issue at all.
I'm confused. Why would you want to use a chase view? Hood view is probably the best for competitive online play when using a steering wheel. Although all my cars are tuned for grip, I can comfortably use hood view for drift builds as well.
@DistractedLord Hey buddy; overall a great, well done video. it really put in perspective how you explained part of the breaking mechanics. I haven't quite finished the video but stopped to write you this. I wondered if you'd like to hear some feedback? Your video has quite a a larger number of views than other Wreakfest videos when I was searching for tips so If you did an update video with my suggestions you could get more views and help more people. I'm no expert, in fact I've only been playing for a week now, and just on level 52...although from my person experience; Your not quite correct with some of the information on tuning. Shoot me a response. Hope to hear from you soon. Cheers. (Another suggestion if you don't want to make another video is I can leave a separate comment and you could pin it to the top.)
thanks for the comment, i too have learnt some more, both in terms of wreckfest and video editing, but what do you think needs correcting? (put it as a separate comment and I'll pin it)
Sry but I couldn't stand this more than 3min. It is no fun to listen to you, you are way to quite, your equipment is clicking in the backround and you are mumbling very hard.
nice guide thank you. Just got this game and while the standard tuning is ok and handling good, i think these tips will keep me on the track more.

i can't remember what my settings were, i have a different wheel now, how does that relate to the camera view?
