I had just gotten the 4th of 6 TCHP chemotherapy infusions and was feeling supremely poisoned and ill when your videos came up in my youtube. They really cheered me up, your personality. I love the way you interact with people. In one of the vids you even helped the parking attendand pick up trash. There was another where you were cooking clams and were having so much fun as each one opened as they cooked; at one point, you blurted out a spontaneous prayer: "Thank you for letting me eat! Thank you for this food!" You are grateful for everything, the food, the 5 star views out your back window. At a time when there's so much darkness in the world it's refreshing to see.

If you run your vehicle (idling, no driving) for long times to have heat, consider another portable, stand- alone heater. Idling the engine for long periods of time will damage it. If you had a diesel engine, no problem. They are built for it (but in cold climates, it absolutely must stay running, or you'll need to connect the engine to a heater. All that said in the event, down the road you decide on another vehicle and go diesel.

Long time viewer, love your channel but I had to come say you should try onion soup again. Cook waaay more onions, waaaay slower, and waaay longer. They should have no bite left to them and they will caramelize just fine on their own with plenty of sweetness before you add the liquid. For the bread and cheese, you can put a little slice in your air fryer to toast it then add cheese to roast and then toss it into your bowl. You want some depth in your bowl so it's actually a hearty soup with bread on top. Finally you want to take the woman's offer on cheese next time! Makes a huge difference. Enjoy and welcome to Quebec😂

I'm from and in Quebec. There are a lot of "centres aide" everywhere where they sell used clothes and other items at very low prices. Ask for them. I think you're a little crazy to risk yourself in the cold like that but I like it🤣

Hi Arslan, I love your videos and have been watching for few months. You are like an astronaut living in your car (suburban). Can you do a video on your diesel heater, batteries, I saw a google home display & wondered how to keep it connected to the internet? You have a great disposition and are a joy to follow! Thank you!

Yes, Canada. It was a frozen, hostile wasteland and there was much work to be done if we were to survive the elements. After boring a hole through the ice to find food, my good friend Nantuk and I would build an igloo to protect ourselves from polar bears and flying hockey pucks. Then we would drink a lot of beer, and when Nantuk was ready, he would tell the story of the great moose, who said to the little squirrel, 'Hey Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!

Ouff!! You have to have winter tires. If you get cought by the police with summer or 4 season tires, you will have a ticket. We are not alloud to have summer tires in the winter. It's verry dangerous not to have winter tires here. I know you can't store 4 tires in your car. That's a problem. Good luck and stay safe.

Greetings from a French Canadian. My partner and I just discovered your channel recently.
I wonder how you're getting some of the shots you're getting (e.g.: when you were sledding down the hill). Do you have some sort of autonomous drone or something? I don't see room in your camper for any kind of camera crew.

He is holding a selfie stick (by hand, or using his legs while sledding) and the stick is erased from the video by the software.

I'm orginally from Michigan, so snow mounds/mountains are normal and lovely for me. However, I been living in Chicago for last decade and a half. It the cold snaps that get to me. 10-30 degress's I'm fine, but those 0 to -15+ moments make me want to cry. Luckliy I live in a conda, so I can crank my heat to 70-80 and it doesn't effect my HOA fee's.

1:50 "What is that guy wearin... oh my gosh"... lol.. Welcome to Canada and -18°C or 0°F is normal for us in January so we are used to it. The further north you go the colder it will be. But caution heading East to the island (PEI or Prince Edward Island)... won't be as cold but during long winter snow storms the snow drifts can bury a house. 🥶🥶❄❄☃☃FYI, if you're not used to drive in cold weather, then the majority of us who drive bother to swap our all season tires for snow tires.
