Great couple of days a Mahker last week, new gear/transfer box fitted and a set of unexpected Bilstein 7005’s, (Thanks Bruno & Louis), thanks also to Dave for your time, loved the shop and meeting everyone, tea wasn’t bad either - I’ll certainly be back when funds allow. ❤ Mahker
Hi Dave. I'm looking at buying a 'tidy' 2004-06 Td5 XS 90 and I've got a few options in my price range, with different chassis conditions. With the intention of booking whatever I buy in for a chassis treatment, if given the choice would you prefer to see a factory painted chassis with a little crust or one that theoretically looks tidier but has a coating on it? For the uncoated chassis, can your experience tell from a couple of pictures if it's suitable for the treatment or if it's too far gone? Trying my best not to buy a pup. Cheers.
Not being funny but what is your opinion on Lanoguard? I get bombarded with ads block them but they still come up. Waxoyl and Kurust here but there maybe better.
Ask yourself why the company spends so much on adverts if the product was so amazing surely it would sell itself ? My personal view is if the chassis is coated when it’s brand new it will combat rust but once it sets in you’re simply trapping it under layers.
Thank you for being a Royal Marine. Thank you for serving our country. Ohh. And your videos on the Landrovers are amazing too. 👍
Thanks so much Dave ❤️🥰

Pleasure to meet you & the wife and of course the wolf Steve how’s the taller 5th gear now ?
Excellent Dave, cruised home at 70 @ c.1,950 rpm, but corners are the biggest revelation, the Wolf is way more composed on those Bilstein’s now…
@@stevepickering5866 glad you love them buddy thanks again for trusting us with your beast of a wolf 💪
Sliver defender outside the workshops a nice example! Farmers truck had a lot of oil around the engine bay keep up the good work .

Dave answers this in our latest Q&A - thanks!
_AWESOME quality shiny kit and attention to detail!_
Just out interest what makes you think it’s a cylinder and not just injector seals blowing by ? On the 2.4 farm truck. Cheers Oli
Agreed. Always seems to be misdiagnosed. Always start with the injector seals.
Already inspected that is it’s the go to for us with pumas due to the bolts stretching.
How does an injector seal make crankcase pressure?
@@joeedwards627 because the injectors pass through the rocker cover in sealed units
!Two words f****** outstanding 🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏻👍🏻

Do you have any B58 content on the horizon?
Lots going on.
Busy times!
Had to laugh at the end of the talk about the extended cab very time consuming I don’t want to do anthor 😂
If sure is time consuming it’s absolutely fine when the client understands it but 95% of people won’t get it.
Re Project Brutus. My dog is 2 speed. Off or Full speed.!!!
tickets bought 👍
Awesome, good luck!
🐾👊🏻
Of course!
Buy a Toyota Landcruiser - all those Australian farmers, mining companies, the UN, multiple government agencies, and African warlords can't be wrong.
And in the UK it will be a bucket of rust within 10 years
