Leaving Nate off of the thumbnail is a pro move. Respect it
Got me
When Tank uses his calmer voice, he is the ultimate story teller
Tankie **
Frank is brilliant. I could listen to him tell sports stories all day long. What an enigma the Tank
You mean Tanky?
I normally can’t stand Frank, but it’s clear he took an edible…and yeah I can hear mellow Frank wax poetic about sport’s history for days.
MASTERCLASS BY FRANK. WOW. WE NEED MORE STORYTIME FROM FRANK.
Tricked me by leaving Nate off the graphic. They got me to click but then saw Nate and instantly got out of there.
Came here to say the same exact thing lol
It's called the ol' bait and switch. A tale as old as time. A favorite ploy by charlatans
Nate 100% is fucking awful.
Why the fuck is Washington fan Nate on here anyway?
Big cock Nate is in all your heads. It’s so damn funny😂
As an old Red Sox fan, Frank's description of 86 World Series hurt all over again even after the recent championships
Why does Frank not have a sports history podcast?
he’s a busy guy
Please bring Frank back more often😭😭
Frank is the GOAT! Ultimate sports history storyteller!
Dan Gable losing his final NCAA wrestling match to finish his career 117-1 is all time heart breaking.
Nate made me miss WSD
Frank killed this with his story telling.
I can confirm there are diehard falcons fans in Atlanta. Had about 10-15 of us at my house. The most heartbreaking sports memory fathomable
Frank just put on one of the greatest snake draft performances in history. A masterpiece.
Kevin Dyson was our high school football coach and PE teacher. Dude was super cool and positive for someone that almost had all that glory.
2016 National Championship Game: UNC down 6 to Villanova with a minute and a half left. Marcus Paige scores 8 points down the stretch, including an off-balance, double pump "This Will Live in NCAA Tournament History Forever" 3 pointer to tie it up. Then Kris Jenkins calls game. As a UNC fan, I've never been more gut kicked by any play in my whole life.
Maryland blew that 10 point lead in the final minute to Duke in 2001 and then met Duke again in the Final Four that year and blew a 39-17 lead and lost by 11. I was 9, it was brutal
Favorite games of my childhood. Fuck Maryland
That was exactly one of my picks!! The "miracle minute"
Armando Galaraga’s perfect game getting robbed from him. All baseball fans felt for that man, and turned Joyce into public enemy number 1 though it was a mistake.
I am 4 minutes in and already want to blow my brains out hearing Eddie say "tankie"
Frank could read me sports bedtime stories. It's an artform.
Finally, White Sox Dylan gets left off.
Unbelievable performance by Frank
Frank really transported me to 1986 with his storytelling
Chief’s honorable mention is a 1st round pick. Go watch highlights from the final game in Cleveland. Grown men weeping. The players weeping as well. The truest definition of heartbreak. Not a random 1st round March madness loss. Terrible miss
As a Canucks fan, 2011 Stanley cup final, game 7
The riots that followed the game overshadow the fact that the game itself was heartbreaking for Canucks fans
The Leafs were down 3-2 in the series and then winning 4-1 in the third period of game 7, they're always so far off when it comes to stats yet so confident in it
Frank's sport history knowledge is the most impressive shit
Turned it off after the third "Tanky".
It makes my skin crawl lmao
Can’t believe the Malice at the Palace was left off. That set the Pacers back for almost a decade
Need to get Tank and Mr Portnoy on a draft
Chief mentioning Chicago and NY as “1 of 4” sports towns that matters is so unbelievably stupid and asinine considering neither city has won shit in forever
2016 Indians, Game 7. I'll never get over it.
Ed losing control at the end was just all time funny. Poor guy had no clue what to do
Ravens afc championship game against the patriots where Lee Evan’s dropped an easy touchdown pass, then Billy cundiff shanks the kick
As a pats fan the patriots losing their perfect season in the Super Bowl still hurts
Kick six not being taken is crazy. #1 Alabama vs #4 Auburn, Alabama looking for the first three-peat in FBS history, taken away on the final play. Huge heartbreak. The call is still played to this day and the play is so memorable
I know they won a ton, but 2001 Yankees…Lose the first two, miracle comebacks in 3,4 and 5, dominated by Johnson in game 6 and then Soriano hits a go ahead hr in the 9th with the greatest closer in the history of the game on the hill
How did Chris Webber timeout not get drafted? Thank you Dana for at least bringing it up
Wanted to watch but the moment he says Nate’s name I gotta leave.
worst human in the company
FINALLY WSD IS OUT!!!!
2014 NFC Championship. Packers up 13 with 5 minutes to go. An epic collapse and I still have never watched highlights of that game.
Buffalo Bills 13 Seconds
Undertaker losing his Wrestlemania Win Streak
Toronto Maple Leafs. Their entire existence
This is maybe not the best draft performance wise but I feel like I still learned a lot
Frank the Tank masterclass
Tank needs to rip a 3chi and start a sports history podcast
The Escobar game isn’t even the most heartbreaking event of that cup. Columbia had alread lost to Romania…It’s the best player in the world missing the fifth pk to lose the cup.
This is fittingly haunting as a Bills fan
Every draft Chief says he going to write a blog and never does. Do some work Chief
I am in round 2 pick 1, when is the seahawks interception going to get picked
Tankeeeee!!!
No double doink is criminal
One heartbreak for WSD… Michigan State coming back from 38-3 in 2nd half vs NW
Denver is a huge sports city. Every away team say it's a loud place to play. The players that play here say it's an amazing atmosphere. Broncos 3 super bowls, avs 3 Stanley cups, nuggets 1 nba title, cu 1 football one ncaa championship, rockies 1 nl championship, DU hockey 9 ncaa championships, and air force has 21 commander and chief trophies.
Some Vikings fans would claim '09, when Favre threw across his body, was more of a heartbreak...
Drifted away from this video to go back and rewatch D Rose highlights, he was so damn good
Honestly can’t tell if I’d rather listen to WSD or the Frank/Nate combo
As a Rangers fan I greatly appreciate Eddie drafting them losing the World Series away from one strike. It definitely doesn’t get talked about near enough.
It might be cause I wasn’t born in 86 but to me the 2003 ALCS is way more heartbreaking. People forget that Buckner happened in game 6 was a hole game after.
The titans ram pick is dumb to me. They werent a “yard away from winning the SB”. They would have kicked the PAT to tie the game.
RED ED has turned heel. He’s FROM THE TOP ROPE
Why does everyone say the titans were a yard away from winning? It would’ve been a tie after the PAT
asking a dude who weighs 300 lbs to touch their toes lmaoooo
Honestly Dana is right about not seeing die hard falcons fans. I grew up in Atlanta and the majority of my friends were not falcons fans
How does Nate not mention Sean Taylor in the honorable mentions as a Skins fan.
People also forget Northern Iowa beat Texas on a half court buzzer beater the round before.
We need an exclusively missed calls draft
God dammit Frank I love you
Franks memory is incredible
in my opinion, as not being a bulls fan, think the derrick rose pick was not good. 5th round at best IMO, outside of Chicago not sure anyone would consider this a "heartbreak"
Chief lowkey might be the worst drafter out of anyone.
Is Frank baked? Never seen him so calm and sedated😂
Should’ve had a Philly fan on here because there’s been too many heartbreaking Philly sports moments throughout recent history. Definitely missed a lot of ones. Kawhi shot should’ve been a first round pick here
London Fletcher was absolutely on that Rams team. Had they scored there they would have only tied it with the PAT. I guess they could have won it with a 2-point conversion. I don't think that was really a heartbreak scenario like the others before it. The 28-3 game is FAR bigger of a heartbreak than it was.
Strange…when he was looking at his computer he knew everyone on that team. Can’t believe Nate missed that
crazy to say "heartbreak" for teams losing in the posteason after they've won multiple titles LOL
as a ATL fan.. 28-3 isn't a heartbreak.. my team made it to the superbowl and did the most Falcon thing possible!! it was awesome!!
You could make a list of just boston sports moments, good and bad
Oh yeah those poor Boston sports fans.. you guys won more shit that anybody the last 20 years and are still feeling sorry for yourselves.
Nate brutal
Frank dominating ? No white sox dave dad stories ? this might be the greatest draft of all time
Not much international sports heartbreak on these lists
This show was built for The Tank
the combo of nate and the just hour and half plus of heavy breathing into the mic. christ
Saints safety Marcus Williams missed tackle on Stefon Diggs that led to the “Minneapolis Miracle”
You mean when he threw the game?
Chief doesn’t recognize Hawks COVID playoffs series win vs Oilers?
It’s actually crazy how unlikable nate is
I like tanky ed
No Nate in the graphic is tricky Red Ed. I was hyped when I saw frank and beers….
Sox have actually won 4 World Series since then, Chief
Trey flowers sacked Matt Ryan after the Julio jones catch. Hightower strip sack was way earlier. How is Dana even a patriots fan?
Frank is the goat
Chief is not good at these drafts - overthinking it man
Nate’s first two picks were SO BAD. A butler half court shot? It’s heart break to miss a half court shot by a massive underdog. Dumb.
2011 Red Sox orioles and rays Yankees is a good one
I knew chief would take the Columbia soccer game
You don’t see a ton of diehard Falcons fans due to how transient Atlanta is as a workforce.
Yep. When you go to Atlanta you meet fans of every team as much as the local teams..
Andres Galarraga perfect game was a huge miss. Jim Joyce ruined perfection
Uhhh Dallas Chief? Should be another sports town.
No Norman at Masters?
Frank is involved? I’m in.
No Magic having to retire?
why is eddie huggin that chair?
Just started this. If the Padres game 163 loss to the Rockies in 2007 isn’t on this list I will never watch another draft and I will 👎 every stream. You’ve been warned
Matt Holliday still hasn’t touched home plate.
