Nice but I’m a drop point man. Love how the sheath comes all set up for pocket carry. I’d take one in D2....soon as Magnacut is mentioned, the price jumps significantly and one in D2, if done right will hit the hardness you are looking for?
Noticed a bunch of fixed blade content especially most of them being hand forges. You really need to check out Chad Weatherford and his 6inch “med” signature series blades I picked one up recently and have been loving it. Little work horses they are.
the boker AK1 sucks anyway when you compare it to the actual daily customs AK1, it’s cheaper by a LARGE amount but you have to have it shipped internationally
Looks great! But I was thinking. You notice how most Wharncliffes have an angled spine close to the tip, rather than a curved spine from farther back? Is this a functionally based difference? I'm guessing it's like, "the increased precision and piercing ability isn't worth sacrificing that much durability." Thoughts?
I wouldn’t even really call this a wharncliffs, I think of a Wharncliffe as a knife that the spine drops all the way down to the tip but there are so many modified versions of the blade shape. Most wharny blades are excellent piercing blades

Yea @ 63/64 hrc the edge stability and edge retention both go up a bunch. If you actually use your knives you can definitely tell the difference
