I’ve been glad, many times, to know that even though one act of disobedience/sin (Eve & Adam) caused all of this world of pain, yet Jesus forgave them, and now Jesus can forgive (even) me! Can you imagine how horrified Adam and Eve would be (today) to see what happened from partaking of fruit from a forbidden 🚫 tree? Yet people think a day (not keeping the 7th day Sabbath Holy), can’t make a difference to God. 🤦♀️🤷🏻♀️I wonder how many people actually sit to contemplate 🤔 the seriousness of sin? “Trust & Obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus, than to trust and obey.”
The pastor mentioned spending time watching Francis Schaeffer DVDs, which is quite concerning, as he politicized the Christian right and argued for the marrying of church and state.
