this music choice worked ONLY bc their dancing is incredible -- the technique and precision required to make all of the weird time changes+rhythmic oddities+negative space in the music work (and not just work well, but work BEAUTIFULLY) was INSANE. i love how connected he was to his partner and the crowd, and her skill+flexibility was just phenomenal. wow wow wow
the music wasn't just a choice, they did a fantastic remix of this song to suit their dancing , it was done so well that people might think this is the original or will like it better than the original and even better if people think of them and this dance whenever they hear this song.
Wow wow. I loved this so much. Deserved first. Innovative and cleanly executed moves done with artistic creativity off the wall. The dance kept you involved with every move. I’m going to watch again and maybe again. Bravo.
I had a unique experience watching this routine that I can only recall having one other time... The first time I watched it, I was like, "Iiiiii'm not sure how I felt about that... 🤔" But a seed was planted, and it grew and grew while I was sleeping...and I've watched it several more times and now LLLLLOVE it!!! Excellent job to these two dancers. 👏👏👏 The timing when there was not a beat to follow was impeccable. As a former musician who had to do quite a bit with only an internal metronome, I know how hard that can be.
