  • I ordered a new mobility device, the Rollz Motion 2-in-1 Rollator / Wheelchair Combo, in preparation for a family vacation to Disney World in September 2017. The low profile & modern design made this an appealing mobility tool to use at Disney. Unfortunately with my autoimmune illness, I’m unable to stand or walk unassisted for more than ten minutes. Rollz gave me some extra support while walking, as well as a place to sit while waiting in lines for attractions. When I became to too tired to function, it was super easy to convert to wheelchair mode for my hubby to transport me back to our hotel. I highly recommend!

This video was filmed in June of 2017 for my other channel, The Last Supper (hence, the weird opening title). Shortly after filming, our dog Ginger died from cancer. My son includes a tribute to her at the end.

A spoonie can refer to any individual who suffers from a chronic illness. The term originated from a post written by Christine Miserandino entitled The Spoon Theory, which uses a spoon as a measure of energy.

I’m still using it for daily walks to the park. Maybe we can film something soon!

Hi Kelly, thanks for this really helpful video. I have a question that I am hoping you (or anyone else can answer for me). There are 2 sizes of this product in the UK: Small with seat height of 55cm recommend for up to 5ft 2in, and Medium with seat height of 50cm recommended for up to 5ft 6cm. I don't know which to go for - particularly as I am planning on sharing it with my mum who is taller than me. I am 5ft 2cm and mum is about 5ft 5cm. Can I ask how tall are you and which size did you purchase? Also are you still using this chair and have there been any problems with it?

Are you planning on using it more as a walker or as a transport chair? If your mom is going to be pushing you around a lot, I would get the taller model so she doesn’t get a back ache from being hunched over. The handles will drop down for you, but I’m afraid the handles on the small model won’t get tall enough for her.
I’m not sure if your seat heights are a typo, but you might want to have someone measure you in a comfortable seated position to see which seat height works for you. If you plan to use mostly for walking, then just resting, make sure you aren’t going to go up on tippy toes to sit down, if that makes sense.
I still use mine. It is going strong!

Drive makes one that looks similar now, The Nitro Euro Style Rollator, $230 at Walmart. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but I imagine it gets the job done. bit.ly/2uZ21WD

It's not the Swedish people who have hats like that. You must be mixing us up with the Swiss :)
