I love you Teepa, Ive learned so much from you. When I cared for my father, he lived in an assisted living facility and he missed to toilet every time. At first I made the mistake of saying plumbing issues aren’t yellow, however, I caught myself and said it would be ok, I would call housekeeping to check on it. Thank you for teaching me a better way. Dementia does not come with a manual and no two people react the same.

If only there had been someone like Teepa to tell me all of this years ago when it would have helped. I am so thankful this information is online for caregivers today.

I wish I could give this information to everyone ... not many are willing to listen even though statistically many of us will end up either caring for or helping to care for someone with brain failure ... thank you Teepa!

So glad to be watching this now. Doctor wants to give my Mum a walker but she walks fine. The vision thing is very interesting especially as my Mum has vision in only one eye now and moderate dementia.

I’ve worked in Aged Care in a variety of roles and am lucky enough to work for a company who embraces the Montessori approach.....but these videos are something else entirely. To offer us the perspective of the person living with Dementia is priceless and I can already feel the change in myself as an Older Person Lifestyle Worker/ AIN. I cannot say Thankyou enough !!!
