IMO, it's all of the above. May I add that it's all due to combination of: great guitar acoustics, good strings, talented finger-picking style, and perfect audio post-processing (Mostly EQ, Compression, and Transient control).

puru that's a combination of ALOT of factors he's mastered. Definitely starts at the guitar itself , excellent phospor bronze nanoweb strings ( match the way the wood resonates in this guitar) , his style , the pickup, the recording / editing. It all has to be on point , or it would not sound as good as it does. But most importantly , his skill and being willing to put himself into the music.
