I love the conversation between Shiyi/Mr. Ou. He's really a supportive friend to her. Lingyi listening in on their conversation is giving him insight into Shiyi's dreams. I love the honesty between these two men who love the same woman. Even though Lingyi is upset with Shiyi at the moment his love for her is apparent. I really respect Lingyi for not forcing Shiyi to live the life he wants her too. He's a very supportive husband. She was extremely lucky to marry him. General Fu is so cute. He's such a gentleman. Dongqing really lucked out with him. They make a cute couple.

Basically, he's managed to lead a successful life, free from family burdens. So, when Yan Xing is telling Shi Yi what a shame it would be for the people not to see her embroidery, it's like her former self is talking to her.

I love this drama. It is a slow burn but very worth it. I’ve watched it several times and end up needing to watch My Little Happiness afterwards to make my second lead syndrome feel better, lol.
