Drama CDs in General are a Common thing in the Japanese Media especially for Video Games and even Anime, most were just Recorded Voicelines from the original Voice Actors by reprising their Roles as the Characters they previously already played, except they start to give them Extra New Dialogues by give them a bit of more Emotion and Personality, while some Stories were just Retellings, but some of them did added new Story Beats that were not from the Original Version, either if some that's very Important Segways like a Prequel or Sequel, but some were sometimes Filler Arcs or Alternate Plots which that would be described as not-so Important, In a Nutshell, to Understand a Story in a Drama CD by listening to the Recorded Voicelines of the Characters, you just got have to use your Imagination. 🌈
