Ah, if only I had money. Four Swords is one of the shorter games, isn't it? I'm glad you guys were able to make it work, and I'm interested to see how Vaati is in this one.
Everytime you guys release a Zeldudes episode I go and get a shrimp fajita burrito with a side of queso and eat it while watching. It's one of my favorite moments right now.

You got that stuff stashed in your fridge or you go out and order street food and return home to munch?
The Anniversary version is cool, because they added the Realm of Memories. You get to play through levels based on LttP, Link's Awakening, and the first LoZ. Then you get a neat reward after finishing them.
SO HYPED FOR THIS PLAYTHROUGH. I will get to watch my favorite Zelda youtubers play a Zelda game I have never played before. I think imma have to become a member soon enough to get these episodes early, can't wait for the chaotic but also hilarious moments!
I'm so glad you guys got this to work out! The game is such a mystery to me and feels like a gap in my Zelda lore and knowledge. I'm really looking forward to watching the two of you play this!
I’m so glad they didn’t skip this game because I’ve tried and find a play through of this game, and it would only show four swords of adventures play through, so I’m glad that they were able to do this game
Loving these playthroughs! You both bring soo much joy to not only the series, but to me personally. Thank you Zeldamaster and Zeltik, two of my two favorite Zeldatubers!
It's funny, because we're in the same boat. Four Swords is the one and only Zelda game I've never played despite owning it. But for the reasons you've mentioned, I never came around to play it. So it's really cool to see it for the first time through you two who're also seeing the game for the first time!
NICE!!! Another game that's 100% brand new to me! The opening area selection immediately reminded me of Yoshi's Island, probably because my 5yo grandson is learning to play that game now so I have Yoshi on the brain -- plus it's among my favorite Mario games. I'm so excited to watch this!!
The anniversary edition was technically my first Zelda game but I never finished it. I think I got softlocked out of it somehow near the end of it. If this version has the realm of memories, I Can't wait to finally see the ending after 13 years 😂
I have two younger sisters. Had handheld consoles been a thing (original Game Boy was out, now that I think about it) when we were kids and our parents actually bought one for each of us, there's no way they would've bought multiple copies of the same game.
Wind Waker and Four Swords both came out first in December 2002 and with just 10 days between them but it's true, Four Swords was earlier. Anyway, inching ever closer to OoT and this is the only Zelda game I have never played or seen because it's multiplayer only.
Four Swords came out exactly 11 days before Wind Waker (based on the regions that released first. Oddly enough Four Swords first released in America on December 2, 2002. Wind Waker first released in Japan on December 13, 2002)
I have been transferring the anniversary edition of the game from one ds to the next and still have it to this day. Found out a friend also had it so we played it the other day.
my brother and I had this game and it was the start of my hatred of multiplayer games. He would throw pots on my head and then toss me off the cliff, we got nowhere
This game was the last Zelda game I played. I remember hacking my 3DS during COVID lockdown just to get the Anniversary Edition on 3DS, since there's no other legitimate way to play it.
The only bit that is a shame about playing the GBA version vs the anniversary version is you won't get to experience the Realm of Memories which has levels based on older Zelda games. I didn't know this until I was looking something up about the game but you actually have to play through the game 3 times to see all the endings. EDIT: The info I found was complete BS, the ending is the same in all 3 playthroughs. That said there is something you get for doing all 3 runs but you have to play one of the maps with a great fairy again. To keep the competition going I'm going to keep track of stats (unless youtube deletes my comments again). To keep it simple I'll use the abbreviation ZM and ZK for the stats. First place victories ZM: 0 ZK: 1 Total Rupees collected ZM: 1246 ZK: 1646 Total Deaths ZM: 3 ZK: 1
@tannerbarlow1997 There’s also the Hero’s Trial. While the rest of the game is probably the easiest Zelda game, the Hero’s Trial seriously had me raging.
I've been playing each game this year in order of release, and since I'm doing them all single player I had to emulate the anniversary edition. Let's just say single player was a bit of a slog to 100%, specifically due to the grinding you have to do. If you know what's in store, you really know :p
Four Swords released December 2 2002 in America [March 2003 elsewhere] and the earliest release for Wind Waker was December 13 2002 in Japan... so Four Swords came out earlier but only for America for some reason??
@ZelDudes: would it be possible to make *Ocarina of Time* into a Live Stream so that we can help you on your journey? This is my way of being able to *HELP* you to temporarily destroy *Vaati* at the end of the game. I just wanted you to know that you guys rock!!! ~ JonseyG 👲💖
Is a shame this game never got ported anywhere. (Aside from the 3ds which only happened the weekend i straight up couldnt download it) Underrated look for Zelda
Hey Zeltik. Brad here. I think I may know how Links house is Zeldas House on Zelda Tears Of the Kingdom. Maybe Link Never Own the Hateno House And after the Battle On Ganon Zelda took the House.
@@melaniewhitt9271 No, in the US Four Swords came out December 2, 2002, and Wind Waker came out March 24, 2003. You're thinking of Four Swords Adventures which came out in 2004.

Thank goodness for the humongous cable - what would you have done without it? 😁
“Yank it and crank it” should be the new “rusted and busted” Luke has a lot of funny phrases
26:55 When 2 Links clash their swords together they make a spark with can light torches.
Love how we had a Luke plays, then an Ed plays, now a both play

26:11 “To me, to you” Zeltik dropping a little Chuckle Brothers reference there. 😂
I’ve never played or seen footage of this game! So excited to watch you guys play!
I never seen gameplay or played this game... Seeing zeldudes play it is a blessing
Red tunic Zeltik and an animated intro? Nice
1:40 - Navi and Vaati are one and the same? Dropping some deep lore there Zeldudes!
😜
We never see vati and Navi in the same room together.
I’m so glad I turned on notifications. When this popped today I lost it! Definitely my favorite channel on TH-cam right now.
21:21 Four Swords was released before Wind Waker. Which means that Toon Link's first appearance is actually Four Swords, not Wind Waker.
I wish people knew this.
I've never played this game myself but I can imagine it can be very chaotic with four players 😂 that was fun to watch! I love this channel :)
I mean, technically you guys are connected by an extremely long link cable. It's just a transatlantic fibre internet cable!
Zeltik's gotta bomb the man who kept bombing himself back in Skyward Sword

To be fair there isn't much "lore" in this game
I cant wait to watch you two play four swords adventures. Thank goodness for that extremely long cable 😂.
"This is by far the hardest Zelda to game to access and play" well that statement aged well
I remember that boss fight being SO difficult!
This is so great -- both competition and teamwork involved at the same time! Wonderful play, guys!!
Four Swords has the best title screen theme

The manhandla is in Hyrule Warriors!
Oh wow, I've never seen any footage of this game before. It's crazy seeing how Minish Cap-y it is. The gnat cap is so bonkers.
So happy to see you guys playing this. Tiny little under appreciated Zelda game.

I NEED THIS GAME BACK

I believe in you both!
I can't believe that I got here so fast, though 😅
You would think that Vaati would recognize Link and Zelda. I hope mistranslation isn't to blame.
My friend and I played this and most of the time it devolved into chaos.
I have two younger sisters. Had handheld consoles been a thing (original Game Boy was out, now that I think about it) when we were kids and our parents actually bought one for each of us, there's no way they would've bought multiple copies of the same game.

"Open your eyes", "Talus Cave"...6 minutes in and I'm wondering what other things botw or other games took from this.

I have been transferring the anniversary edition of the game from one ds to the next and still have it to this day. Found out a friend also had it so we played it the other day.

Thanks for the video guys!
Quick question.
Do you feel like there should’ve been a single Link who experienced MC, FS and then FSA?
Oracle games also reused Stray Fairy design
Love the new intro.

@@hist150project5 I also got very frustrated at it which is why I think it's fine they don't have to experience that.
Your swords need to scrape off each other to make sparks to light the fire.
I was able to play the Anniversary Edition. You can play solo on that. It was fun.
I am curious how you guys will play Tri Force heroes as the 3DS online has ended.

Yea, original[FS] Toon Link had Young Link's voice, tho with a bit of variation
the part with the fire and the sword is when the two sword swing against eachother it makes sparks and creates fire its explained in the tutorial
Four Swords released December 2 2002 in America [March 2003 elsewhere] and the earliest release for Wind Waker was December 13 2002 in Japan... so Four Swords came out earlier but only for America for some reason??

Kinda wish Adventures actually recycled some of the OG Four Swords OST

Wait isn’t there another 4 swords? I never played this one. I played this other one I used to play on GameCube
Yep, there's Four Swords Adventures on the Gamecube too! That's in the Child Timeline, but we'll get to it!
@@Zeldudes ohhhhh okay! Can’t wait! Thanks for the wonderful content ❤️❤️

You could always hack the 3DS to get it via piracy
@@hist150project5 i have heard thats surprisingly easy
