I'm a Police Officer and I've been on the force for 16 years now. I shared the Gospel with this brother in the NYC subway a long time ago, and I have to say that although many officers are just doing their jobs, I personally don't find anything wrong with preaching the gospel in the streets. As an evangelist myself, it grieves me to see officers try to hinder the word from being proclaimed to the world. Whenever I am on duty and I see brothers and sisters on the street sharing the word, I encourage them to continue. We live in a fallen and dying world that needs to hear the truth and people need to repent and turn to Jesus!
only way to stop it is to allow the police officer to issue the ticket and then file million dollar lawsuit against them - lawsuits are only way to change police behavior

@@happinesswatts Incorrect, part of the job isn't to stop anyone from utilizing their amendment right to speak freely outside a public place, and if any officer does so, he/she isn't performing their job correctly. You're demonstrating your constitutional right to speak freely which shouldn't be a problem. Most officers including myself don't have an issue with using your amendment rights, however, when someone calls the police on you, the officer must rectify or at least speak with those to whom the individual has called about or else he wouldn't be doing his job. Police Officers are ordained by God to be peacemakers and enforce laws and suppress crime. Preaching in the street isn't a crime, or else I would be a criminal for doing so myself.

I am with you brother to the end. Preach it. I grew up in a little town in SC, Winnsboro. A cotton mill town. My dad started preaching on the street on Saturday about noon and after a couple of times trying to bring the Lord to the people, the cops came up and told him the merchants were complaining he was disturbing the peace and they did not like it. Most of the time , he was on the court house steps or sidewalk. There is no way I as a believer in Jesus Christ could go up to anyone and tell them they had to stop preaching the word. Like you say, we all will stand before the throne of Judgment and give account. Amen

The majority did not, but don't underestimate the power of the seed sown in a person's life. It may have only been one, but I believe there were some who heard and received it. The Word of God never returns void. Even if it was one person, Jesus left the 99 to find that one lost sheep.

Our task is to sow the seed; God is the One who determines if it takes root. This brother and all like him are to be commended for following the Great Commission; he’s literally on the streets of Sodom, preaching to those who need healing. Just as the Disciples did. I advised Muslims to compile all the street Da'wah vs all the christian street preachers and compare the success story. You'll find thousands embracing Islam, but not a single christian street preacher convincing anyone of christianity. On the contrary you'll find more videos where cops are called upon christians until they use those videos as a victim card, hoping sympathy for them would make people believe in their religion.
I didn't find this to be effective preaching at all. He is pacing up and down the sidewalk, speaking to no one, shouting at the top of his lungs and not conveying a message to anyone. The people walking past him aren't getting a coherent message. You hear his message because the camera is with him but if you were walking in the opposite direction, he is just someone shouting like a mad man and not conveying anything intelligible to anyone. He should set up at a corner and try to speak to passers by on a personal level, engage with people. His pacing and shouting aren't going to reach anyone. I'm all for evangelizing on the street but it has to be effective. In this age of crazed homeless people, I'm afraid this brother looks more like one of them than a Christian evangelist.

You can find my sermons on TH-cam, just search for Tola Faminu or Identity In Christ Church. I would say my sermons are Gospel-centered but there's always a call on my heart to go deeper into making sure that EVERYTHING I say points people to the cross. So many sermons are feel-good or encouraging and speak on the promises of God, but fail to keep Christ in the true true center of it all. My original comment was geared towards the beauty of what this preacher was preaching. From start to finish he focused on: 1. Jesus 2. Repentance of Sin 3. In Christ There Is Salvation Alone If that ain't Gospel centered, I don't know what is!

I dont mind people doing that, but to be honest i do feel a bit anxious when i hear someone shouting about religious text in public. Usually this sort of behavior is linked with bombs, mass stabbings, and other things.

I'm a Christian, but you are both missing something very important!! First this man lied in his video Title by saying that the Police gave him attitude, that's incorrect! Whether we agree with the Police being called or not, they didn't give him any attitude, and as the Officer said, he could give him a strike, but isn't going to! What I do really want to address though is his approach of taunting the passers by! He didn't need to follow them, and semi argue with the satanic guy, in such a passive aggressive way 😩 Also how else are those who are genuinely interested in hearing him out, or asking him questions when he's all over the place, walking back and forth???? He should stand in one place and not follow/ or walk behind people, that can come across as intimidating, and people may therefore consider him as unstable!/crazy and want to getaway even quicker as we witnessed!! First. I must say I'm humbled at your willingness to spread God's word. My prayers for you is keep spreading God's word. Watching this makes me realize how far from God this country truly is. All throughout history. Every nation that took God out got destroyed. I can only assume what our future holds. May God have mercy on all of us.

I’ve had my experiences with God and the devil in the past and both are very real but God the Father told me before His hand is always with me. He told me this during a fast. An angel showed me myself out of body during a 3 day dry fast with the devil and a Bible between us and I remember pointing to psalm 136 and I kept saying “His mercy endures forever” I woke up and turned to psalm 136 in my Bible and it was exactly what I said to this creature. Note: I had read the psalms before this but never remembered them but I did. This devil creature looked like (if you google) the devil with book of vices with St. Augustine. It was just standing there looking at the Bible between us as I read psalm 136. I had no fear whatsoever. God does not give us a spirit of fear. I had to draw the whole thing on paper just to help me deal with it at the time (over 4 years ago) . I fasted the next year but I drank water this time and ate little food and was in my bed praying and God told me “You are worthy to enter my kingdom “ I heard this plain as day just like when he said His hand is always with me. I had a lot of things happen back then that I cannot explain but indeed happened. I have not told this to to many people because a lot of people think you’re crazy talking about this stuff but it’s real. God is real and so is the enemy. (even though that is not shouting..), and he obeyed, lowered his voice and continued preaching which they said he could do. It's his Constitutional right to go on the street and share the gospel. There were no businesses that were interrupted. Business went on as usual, money was exchanged and there were seeds planted in the hearts of many people to examine themselves, and to understand they are wanting before the One and only True God, the God of the Universe. There will be a Day of Judgment and that is coming very soon. Look around you... our country is falling into a deep abyss of judgment from God. Christians around the world are communicating constantly because we are seeing the signs being displayed of what Revelation, the last book of the Bible says. It outlines the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when He will come to put an end of the wickedness in this world and He will come to gather His people to Himself. And He will gather the wicked to stand before Him at the Great White Throne of Judgment.. and the Books shall be opened. The Book of Life and the Book of Deeds which people have done or not done. They will be judged, and they will be found wanting because nobody is righteous before God without Jesus Christ. This is a Love message.. not a condemning message of hate. This is a warning message of the free gift of Eternal Life with Christ, and with the Father of all Creation and with all those who are one with Him through the blood of Jesus's sacrifice.

I broke down in tears watching this. I cannot believe this happened there was no reason for this I’m so sorry but also so very proud of you for standing your ground, you were very respectful in my opinion towards the officers . I'm a Police Officer and I've been on the force for 16 years now. I shared the Gospel with this brother in the NYC subway a long time ago, and I have to say that although many officers are just doing their jobs, I personally don't find anything wrong with preaching the gospel in the streets. As an evangelist myself, it grieves me to see officers try to hinder the word from being proclaimed to the world. Whenever I am on duty and I see brothers and sisters on the street sharing the word, I encourage them to continue. We live in a fallen and dying world that needs to hear the truth and people need to repent and turn to Jesus!
only way to stop it is to allow the police officer to issue the ticket and then file million dollar lawsuit against them - lawsuits are only way to change police behavior

@@happinesswatts Incorrect, part of the job isn't to stop anyone from utilizing their amendment right to speak freely outside a public place, and if any officer does so, he/she isn't performing their job correctly.
You're demonstrating your constitutional right to speak freely which shouldn't be a problem. Most officers including myself don't have an issue with using your amendment rights, however, when someone calls the police on you, the officer must rectify or at least speak with those to whom the individual has called about or else he wouldn't be doing his job. Police Officers are ordained by God to be peacemakers and enforce laws and suppress crime. Preaching in the street isn't a crime, or else I would be a criminal for doing so myself.

I am with you brother to the end. Preach it. I grew up in a little town in SC, Winnsboro. A cotton mill town. My dad started preaching on the street on Saturday about noon and after a couple of times trying to bring the Lord to the people, the cops came up and told him the merchants were complaining he was disturbing the peace and they did not like it. Most of the time , he was on the court house steps or sidewalk. There is no way I as a believer in Jesus Christ could go up to anyone and tell them they had to stop preaching the word. Like you say, we all will stand before the throne of Judgment and give account. Amen

I advised Muslims to compile all the street Da'wah vs all the christian street preachers and compare the success story. You'll find thousands embracing Islam, but not a single christian street preacher convincing anyone of christianity. On the contrary you'll find more videos where cops are called upon christians until they use those videos as a victim card, hoping sympathy for them would make people believe in their religion.
I didn't find this to be effective preaching at all. He is pacing up and down the sidewalk, speaking to no one, shouting at the top of his lungs and not conveying a message to anyone. The people walking past him aren't getting a coherent message. You hear his message because the camera is with him but if you were walking in the opposite direction, he is just someone shouting like a mad man and not conveying anything intelligible to anyone. He should set up at a corner and try to speak to passers by on a personal level, engage with people. His pacing and shouting aren't going to reach anyone. I'm all for evangelizing on the street but it has to be effective. In this age of crazed homeless people, I'm afraid this brother looks more like one of them than a Christian evangelist.

I’m thankful those officers did not escalate the situation. I’m saddened that a person called them, because God laid it upon your heart to spread his word. Daren I definitely use a bible when I teach or preach my friend :). You can find my sermons on TH-cam, just search for Tola Faminu or Identity In Christ Church.
I would say my sermons are Gospel-centered but there's always a call on my heart to go deeper into making sure that EVERYTHING I say points people to the cross. So many sermons are feel-good or encouraging and speak on the promises of God, but fail to keep Christ in the true true center of it all.
My original comment was geared towards the beauty of what this preacher was preaching. From start to finish he focused on:
1. Jesus
2. Repentance of Sin
3. In Christ There Is Salvation Alone

An angel showed me myself out of body during a 3 day dry fast with the devil and a Bible between us and I remember pointing to psalm 136 and I kept saying “His mercy endures forever” I woke up and turned to psalm 136 in my Bible and it was exactly what I said to this creature. Note: I had read the psalms before this but never remembered them but I did. This devil creature looked like (if you google) the devil with book of vices with St. Augustine. It was just standing there looking at the Bible between us as I read psalm 136. I had no fear whatsoever. God does not give us a spirit of fear. I had to draw the whole thing on paper just to help me deal with it at the time (over 4 years ago) . I fasted the next year but I drank water this time and ate little food and was in my bed praying and God told me “You are worthy to enter my kingdom “ I heard this plain as day just like when he said His hand is always with me. I had a lot of things happen back then that I cannot explain but indeed happened. I have not told this to to many people because a lot of people think you’re crazy talking about this stuff but it’s real. God is real and so is the enemy. Business went on as usual, money was exchanged and there were seeds planted in the hearts of many people to examine themselves, and to understand they are wanting before the One and only True God, the God of the Universe. There will be a Day of Judgment and that is coming very soon. Look around you... our country is falling into a deep abyss of judgment from God. Christians around the world are communicating constantly because we are seeing the signs being displayed of what Revelation, the last book of the Bible says. It outlines the Second Coming of Jesus Christ when He will come to put an end of the wickedness in this world and He will come to gather His people to Himself. And He will gather the wicked to stand before Him at the Great White Throne of Judgment.. and the Books shall be opened. The Book of Life and the Book of Deeds which people have done or not done. They will be judged, and they will be found wanting because nobody is righteous before God without Jesus Christ. This is a Love message.. not a condemning message of hate. This is a warning message of the free gift of Eternal Life with Christ, and with the Father of all Creation and with all those who are one with Him through the blood of Jesus's sacrifice.

I cannot believe this happened there was no reason for this I’m so sorry but also so very proud of you for standing your ground, you were very respectful in my opinion towards the officers .
