    Unless it’s only Charizard or all three Pokémon get replaced there is no way JUST Ivysaur is getting removed from Pokémon Trainer

      I was more thinking the possibility of having Squirtle be removed along with Ivysaur, and just having Charizard.
      There is an idea where both Squirtle and Charizard become their own characters, but that is highly unlikely.

    Just a few things from me (sorry this is long):
    1. I sort of don't see Sheik getting cut because the character was a huge and very important part of one the biggest and influential video games in history: Ocarina of Time. Also, Sheik is still referenced across different Zelda games like the Breathe of the Wild games and is still liked in Smash Bros mostly on a casual setting.
    2. If Joker doesn't show up, it's more Nintendo lost the license to reuse him, because Atlus milks this character like crazy even today, and Atlus milks crossovers with both the Persona 3 and 4 main characters, even when the series wasn't that popular yet. Joker is literally everywhere now, even appearing in several mobile crossovers including one made by Nintendo, has appeared in every new Persona game so far (even the new remakes), tons of P5 spin-offs, has interacted with every Persona protagonist, and I have no doubt they will put him in Persona 6 in some major way. He even appears as a playable reference in both BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle and Sonic Forces.
    3. Pokemon and Fire Emblem: I think only a few will return for both, but if I had to assume
    FE: Marth, Ike, and Robin
    Pokemon: Pikachu, Lucario, Greninja, Incineroar, possibly Charizard or PT
    A. Marth is the mascot of Fire Emblem. Ike is the most popular character in the franchise going by several official polls by Nintendo for almost two decades straight, was considered one of the two best ring characters in Fire Emblem: Engage, even winning the first ever Choose Your Legends event for the mobile, which is a huge deal, and Robin for both being the series most popular Avatar character, the most popular and iconic mage/custom character in the series, and the narratively it's most important character, both genders. Just needs a moveset rework.
    B. Fates is still mocked and Corrin's popularity these days are heavily carried by the female version alone. The male version of Corrin is one the least popular mainstream Fire Emblem characters of all time. Even the GBA era outshines him. Roy is particularly unpopular with Fire Emblem fans as well for being a weak character in a very difficult RPG game and being close to nothing like his Smash counterpart, (wasn't even a good ring in Engage). Even Sakurai commented on that.
    C. Finally, Byleth, despite coming from Three Houses, the series highest selling game, Byleth in the games in comparison is not as popular. Not only are the Awakening trio far more popular characters, but so are the three House Lords of the game (Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude) and there is a most popular of the 3: Dimitri, who Byleth takes at least 65% of their moveset from, there's tons of memes of the character, and even is the first and only Fire Emblem character to show up on an episode of Death Battle. If anything personally, I see Dimitri being Byleth's replacement.
    4. Pokemon is a lot simpler. Pikachu is the mascot. Charizard being the most popular Pokemon. Lucario is the secondary mascot and popular enough to keep up with the most trending Pokemon each time since its debut. It just needs to fight more like its anime and spin off game counterpart. Greninja is still one of the most popular Pokemon ever and Incineroar is used by tons of professional players, being the most used Pokemon statistically in these tournaments and people have been warming up to its moveset these days.
    5. Pyra and Mythra might have an argument to stay. Despite how the Smash community feels about them, they are popular characters from the Xenoblade community and they are picked commonly in Ultimate and gets newcomers invested to keep playing. I think just toning down the moveset would do just fine for Smash 6.

      The Fire Emblem perspective is very interesting to think about. Really good analysis that I just didn't think about.
      I think Marth being the face of the franchise is something that is fading away over time, even with the focus that he gets in and out of the games. Most people didn't/won't play the games where his story is created or fulfilled, making it a less attachable character.
      I do think you are right about Corrin, Fire Emblem community has some weight for sure, and that is one I could see being dropped.
      Greninja is something I wished I talked about more, cause I didn't really talk about the popularity he has everywhere. My bad on that one.
      I think Xenoblade is something that I'm always going to be biased on, so my opinion isn't the best to go by. I didn't like any of the games after the first one. X was okay, 2 was boring, and 3 to me was very. . . overrated for lack of a better term.
      Overall, great comment!

    Toon link not in cut, list is peak

      Needs a rework where he actually has a few cool things from his games.

    • @isgamer-8732
      @isgamer-8732 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ManyHours He's also the most common Link design if they rework him they could either double down and finally give him some wind boxes or give him Tools from the other Toon Links.

    • @ManyHours
      @ManyHours  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@isgamer-8732 It amazes me that they did nothing with the Grappling Hook, Deku Leaf, and the Counter System he has.
      I feel like he shouldn't have a traditional counter, but more of a special Parry Attack when you get a parry in game.

    • @isgamer-8732
      @isgamer-8732 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ManyHours Yeah like of he clanks or does a parry he will always win and he has a 5th smash attack with his Wind Waker Counter animation that's the strongest smash attack in the game but he can only use it if he parries or clanks with something. Strongest smash attack when Lucas already has Up smash is kinda crazy though so give it poor range.
      Not to Mention they could also Keep Toon Link in with a good rework and also replace Adult Link with The Hero of Legend. Not only would he match being from the same game as Zelda (can add unique taunts if they are together) he would have the largest movelist to pull from since he has 4 games. He could be a Link that plays like Hero.

    Good list! Main thing I disagree with is there’s NO way jigglypuff gets cut

    • @ManyHours
      @ManyHours  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I think of the original 12, she is the most likely, but I'm doubtful they ever would. More of a throwback to how late of character puff was in Brawl.

      @isgamer-8732 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ManyHours Puff is super popular in Japan. Alongside being on 12 she is very unlikely to ever get replaced. I could see every pokemon other than Pikachu and Puff getting swapped put eventually over the decades but those 2 would always stay. Unless they swap her for Scream Tail.

    • @ManyHours
      @ManyHours  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@isgamer-8732 I know she was popular in Japan for a long time, but I just don't know if she still is one of the top. If she is, then more then likely will of course stay.
      The swap for Scream Tail is a very interesting thought. Sounds fun.

    I still don't get how mewtwo can be cut. Was so popular he got back as dlc. I think all the popular returns from smash 4 are a given. They got in cause of demand so they have better chances than most.

    • @ManyHours
      @ManyHours  5 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That is something I forgot of completely, but I don't think that makes them a given. Of all the Pokemon, Mewtwo is the least popular (besides Incin and Pichu), and doesn't have a great showcase in Smash in general. Melee had him as a very not friendly to use character for first timers, Sm4sh had him as DLC (also his best outing), and Ultimate has had little to nothing to make him standout from his older entries.
      As I think of it more, probably should have put him in Rework. Would love to see a rework of most of the Pokemon honestly, but Mewtwo probably needs it the most, he feels the most dated.
