Out of curiosity, if you had caught anything, what would you have done with the fish? I assume you could not bring it back to the ship and have them cook it up for you at the Seafood Shack. 😉
Hey Andrew, that would be quite awesome if them he Seafood Shack could cook it. I would have probably just released it or given it to one of the locals.
I will be going on the same cruise at the end of July. I was looking at the first excursion you went on. Would you recommend it? Also which port has the best shopping. Any recommendations would be much appreciated! Thank you!
@Lyssa Awesome!!! It’s a great cruise!! As far as that first excursion the Yelapas & Maura… we wouldn’t recommend it. It was a very rushed excursion. Carnival has a similar one we have done that goes to a water fall it’s the sea safari one. They offer great food, nice beach getaway and a better waterfall. As far as shopping both places offer great shopping. In PV they have a mall right off the port, if you go to the malecón great souvenirs and their is a river walkway if you take a cab good shopping there. In Mazatlán if you go to the down town area it is filled with shops as well. But the port area where you load and unload has shops too. So both are great areas. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hey Johnny, yes I usually go to Carnival.com to book our cruises. I have used a travel planner in the past. Navigating through the website can be somewhat confusing when it comes to selecting your rate. Different cruise rates are available. Some are refundable and some are not. Some rates also include certain perks like onboard credit. You can read the fine print which will give you an overview. The advantage of using a travel planner is that they know all the ins n out and can get you the best rate that works for you. Hope this helps
@Kankoku Ongaku I believe it depends on the game you are playing. We haven’t dabbled to much in the arcade, but from what I saw each game has a different amount of tickets per win.
It’s a good excursion if you just want to relax and enjoy the day. There is also a pool on the other side of the marina that you have access to. The food is great and the drinks are unlimited
Is just fishing wherever you want legal there? I guess I'm used to the US where you need a license etc. Also kind of don't see the point in giving a living sea creature a bad day when you won't be able to eat it. All for hunting and fishing, but never saw the point in doing it just for "fun."
You only need a license if you are going to fish from a boat. It’s Mexico, they let things slide all the time. Otherwise you can fish from shore. I always carefully release the fish back into the ocean.
I love Mazatlán.
Nice Video, We will be there in two weeks on the Panorama. Enjoyed your voyage so far...
Thank you for your feedback! You will have a blast!
looks like great fun!

Hello again! I have another question! Did you happen to know how many tickets you get per game in the Carnival Panorama arcade? I'm a gamer! 😃
