It should be called khalsa divas or khalis day. Vasakhi is a cultural festival linked with harvest.❤

Khalsa Sajna Diwas is what I say brother! But, true, Vaisakhi is more used even when talking about Sikhi specifically.

@@qaumebairar vasakhi is not only exclusively celebrated by Punjabis as sikhs who use this word linguistley must understand this most non sikhs Hindus across india mainly the farming communities celebrate this .By deliberately choosing the word vasakhi as sikhs we are killing are own sovereignty for obvious reasons. To sikhs it's about the khalsa the birth of the sikh martial brother hood not the the harvest season yes as Punjabi sikhs we too celebrate this but our foremost reason and day is the birth of the khalsa and this is what the day should always be about sikhs should shout this from their chest and heart unapologetically fly banners with the word khalsa and what it is otherwise sikhs can not then themselves complain they are being imangulaised by other faiths when u as sikhs are doing this your selves by not whole heartedly celebrating the word khalsa and the birth of the khalsa on 13 th April 1699❤
