Thanks for the reminder about not being a cursed human, it really is just the environment. Really wishing the best for you and keeping you in my thoughts💙💙
learning how to let go of control is a continuous lesson for me too, but we got this! i struggle so much with being perceived and definitely contributed to my lack of motivation to read/blog because i get caught up on what people could potentially "think of me" >_< on a different note, i'm so happy for all you achieved with your channel in 2022 and cheering you on always for 2023! ♡
we really are two birds of a feather because that is definitely how i feel!! especially with regards to bookish content😅thank you!!! ily, hope that all the best comes to you in 2023🧡
I love u so muuchhh 🥹 I completely get what you mean about the fear of being perceived in the book community. It's low-key a scary place. Also, I was reading lonely castle while watching this :)
love u 🥺🫶🫶🫶 tbh i have friends like you whom i feel totally comfortable sharing all my reading thoughts with, but the rest of the bookish community is a big question mark!!!
I was watching this while getting ready and was like, “hey that’s me!!” But I too hate being perceived in the book community; except for me I’m always worried that my opinions are problematic. Coming from the military I had to get rid of a lot of internalized misogyny and I’m definitely far from who I used to be but I’m not perfect either. I’m sorry you have been dealing with some stuff lately and I hope things get better for you!!
that is exactly how i feel! i stopped using goodreads this year (again) because i want to read whatever i want without people judging me. and i feel the same way when sharing my book opinions, but i think it's clear from your reading vlogs that you're learning and growing, so i'd give yourself a pat on the back!! as a former military spouse, i can see you're definitely leagues away from that culture 🙂
