As a correction to my mailbag entry, Subject 6 actually appears in Hitman: Enemy Within which is the novel prior to the one I mentioned, Hitman: Damnation. To add on, Enemy Within presents Subject 6 as a bully to 47, however, this was confirmed to have never happened. In the Hitman comic, Ort-Meyer, while injecting 47 with the serum, tells him that once they’re done he’ll only remember 6 as his tormentor who 47 killed when he was twelve. Xavier was absolutely correct in saying that 6 was killed, but those events, along with many others within the novel, did not actually happen. 6 and 47 grew up close and as brothers throughout their time in the Institute. Unfortunately, none of it was retconned, but instead taken and expanded on as a “It was all a dream” or “It never actually happened!”. Ort-Meyer most likely did this so that 47 would both resent 6 and not worry about him being gone. (Also, I say unfortunately because chances are that he’s actually gone after the events of HITMAN 3; however, we can definitely hope that he just shot slightly off so he wouldn’t die) The novels, both Enemy Within and Damnation, do an excellent job at developing 47’s backstory at the Institute. However, 6 only appears in H:EW, but Damnation definitely brings many interesting things to his story. Does that make them worth it to read? Probably not.
This was an absolute blast! I’m sure we could have kept the conversation going for days. A very sincere thank you to both, Timothy, and Rieper for being awesome lads and allowing me on the show to share my two cents. I hope everyone in the wonderful Hitman community enjoys the chat. I send my love to you all! ✌🏻
Absolutely love the story, one of the best videogame storyline’s of all time. Such deep cut lore and the layers for characters you may never even talk to just makes it amazing.
What is the likeliest Relationship between Alpha Xerox and Providence, my bet is they are a rouge branch of Providence but its odd they never showed up again, its possible they are just the same entities

Brilliant episode 👍
Still really enjoying these podcasts man! Btw - which software do you use to have all three of you on call and to record it?
All previous episodes are Zoom calls, but this episode was a Discord call. All recorded with OBS and cut up and arranged in Sony Vegas Pro 15.
@@timothymark Interesting - cheers.
