Thank you Dr. @leonardpeikoff.. You know I am already NOT understanding our politicians here in South Africa.. And when Horizontal integration is applied by our Media and Journalists when they interview our current leaders, on any topic that the politicians talk of, it strengthens the fact that they, the political leaders speak nonsense, absolute rubbish, they just lie or no nothing This is wonderful! thanks to discovering you & ME starting a pathway into #AynRand 's philosophy of #Objectivism.. 👏👏👏
If your hypothesis is on a higher (deeper) level than the theories against which you do a horizontal integration, then your theory is still truer even though the checking gives a result that it is false.
I wonder if liebniz theory on binary could be objective instead of based on rationalism. It identifies an implicit value say the number 2, applies pattern and sequence which can be observed across nature to create higher concepts such as an Octet. Also it is the concept that all computer science relies on today.
If you have a theory or argument that doesn’t cohere with all the other concrete information known by yourself and others then it’s not an integrated theory or argument. The theory has to be laterally integrated with all other known laws. If it’s contradictory then either the theory is false or a premise leading to the conclusion is wrong.
"There is no metaphysical hierarchy, just an epistimilogical one" , s very interesting, something I can definitely take from this lecture, much thanks

Thank you Dr. Peikoff I'll need to read your book to follow & grasp it right
Glad to hear this again. I'd gone to the original, many moons ago.
Good stuff
Thank you geez.. Its not easy..
Thank you the detection of higherarchy is one aspect of integration.. Ok..

I have not understood the idea of horizontal integration, could someone explain to me what it is?
It’s about connecting ideas laterally. For example using some principle from economics to support or not support some principle from psychology.
