You need a tachograph all the rules and regs changed in 2013 as a result of the Selby crash train crash they’re really clamping down on pick ups and trailers and weights and axle weights and corner weights so I hope you point out it’s quite serious business pulling these trailers behind pick ups is that your channel is very entertaining and I watch it all the time. Keep up the good work.
Do you not need a tacho in your van for towing anything over 3.5 ton, and have you checked the train weight, all points on your licence if ya get caught, just a thought🤪👍
@Chris Randall it does if he is towing for hire and reward. Ranger does not qualify for dual purpose vehicle (to heavy). This is my business and what I do as a profession.

I found a Brian James trailer always jumped around on the back of my truck when towing I’ve now changed to ifor Williams and have now noticed no bouncing when towing empty
That’s orange machine next to the 4 series is I think a Lansing LOLOP (low level order picker). Use them in warehouses and they can carry a couple of pallets or uni’s/yorks when pickers are compiling orders. Battery life is shocking on them though.
You’ll find a lot of screws coming loose with a Ranger Tim! As for the ride, well it’s cart (leaf) springs on the rear! Land Rover stopped using them in the early 80s!
Ideas 4 U,,,,,, M S - R T T for MS-R Trucker Tim? add or change the graphics. Custom lighting, corner markers, step marker lights, under glow? Or the full hog, stealth/hidden amber warning lights so you might be able to use the MS-R T T for abnormal load escorting!

You know he has an operators licence, right? As for tacho there’s a bit of greyness around dual purpose/personal vehicles. Possibly swerves the need.
He is hauling for 3rd party there is no grey areas, rules are very clear.

Correct tacho needed as well as put on your o license. Does not come under duel purpose vehicle as its over the 2040 kg ulw threshold.
If you get caught? More when, it is on YT lol
Don't know about UK, but here in Denmark, you're allowed to drive with a BE license (car and trailer over 750kg) up to 5 tonnes, gross weight
