- "Jerusalem", also known as "And did those feet in ancient time" is an English patriotic song, considered as an unofficial national anthem of England. The words were written in 1804 by William Blake and put to music in 1916 by Sir Hubert Perry.

Francis Scott Keys legal advocate retained attempting to negotiate prisoner release wrote U.S. national anthem witnessing the battle during the night. This is the “unofficial” national anthem of England. The reason England doesn’t have a separate anthem from the rest is because it is the base country of the UK. GOD bless England forever and Always!
None of the other regional nations have official national anthems. We've just adapted our sports ones. The English haven't caught on that Jerusalem should be that for them. I think they use it in cricket and thats it.

Those (christian) Britons were eventually all driven into Wales and Cornwall and the rest of England became pretty pagan as a result.
